            If you had children and went to Perry’s on Fathers Day there was a 90% chance you were seated on the second floor, in a banquet style room. We requested a booth and the hostess acknowledged the request, but said they were for “larger parties”. Once seated, our server told us the bread was coming, but saw other tables that were seated after us served bread. Our appetizer came out the same time as our meal. When the server asked us to cut into our steaks, I had to request a steak knife in order to do so. Our server also spilled an orange sauce on my husbands pants. The scallop appetizer was very peppery. It had grated potato shreds on top, that really served no purpose and interfered with the texture of the scallop as opposed to complement it. The sides for two are generous. I did ordered the Baked Mac and Cheese, it tasted as though it had nutmeg, and almost overpowered the dish but the server swore there was no nutmeg. The meal was good , we ordered 3 Prime Ribeyes which tasted wonderful. The seasonal cheesecake was a hit and the chocolate flourless cake had a dense fudge like consistency which hits the spot if craving something rice and chocolate. A fun list of mixed drinks and and enjoyed the decent selection of wines by the glass. When spending over $100 per person I expected the food and service to be at the very least good, but we had a very mediocre experience. Worth a try.

            We had begun to be seated in the upstairs section but, because from prior experiences , we knew to ask to be seated downstairs. (Small children are usually seated upstairs) . I have had 4 children and 2 grandchildren and I no longer wish to be seated with babies) I love them but on special occasions I like to have an uninterrupted dinner with my husband and adult children) The staff was very kind to seat us downstairs and we had a lovely dinner. Gabriel was our waiter and was quite attendant throughout our dinner. Our family had a wonderful time with delicious food!

            Unfortunately, Perry’s has lost its luster for us. Second meal in a row that hasn’t been great. Last night the service was painfully slow and the server was just unattentive. Three of the filets were very overdone… unacceptable for the price. Time for us to find a new spot.

            Service was great as well as the food as always! Our drinks took awhile to get but the waiter comped them and apologized for the slow service. All in all, it was a great experience!

            Had a new hire server that was still learning the job and had other servers along with manager stopping by to assist great service by everyone perrys is always a top choice if in my area
