    Our steak was good as were the grilled vegetables. They only offer sides for two so if you are dining alone or trying to eat more healthy sized portions, you are out of luck. Such a waste of food too. The waitress said she hears from many customers about having to buy sides for two as there are no other options and yet the restaurant just ignores the complaints. Also, it was very noisy.

    The restaurant lacked good service from the time we checked in until when we paid the bill. It literally took 45 minutes and multiple requests to our waiter for bread service (our appetizer was finished before it came). Our wine took 10 minutes each time we ordered and the management oversight of our waiter (PJ) in our section was not great. Based on the price point my wife and I were not satisfied. You get considerably better service at Tazza. In addition to the poor service, our waiter rushed us from the moment we sat down. During our first interaction after sitting with no attention for 5-10 minutes the waiter came to the table and asked if we wanted to order drinks and appetizer before even filling our water glasses or discussing any restaurant particulars. Pretty surprising given our other visits to this high end establishment.

    A pleasant date night with my wife, diminished by the meal. From our experience, this noted steakhouse is highly overrated. Karoline our server was the highlight of the evening. Personable, friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of her menu. Absolutely terrific. Ambience was terrible. Too many tables crammed into an open room. Noisy, crowded, uncomfortable. Servers were bumping into tables as they served other diners. Host staff arranged a large group of birthday celebrants immediately behind us. We were seated at the edge of the dining area, indistinguishable from the foyer. (In fact, the couple ahead of us waited for their table at the very table where we were seated.). My Martini was tasty, but I have never seen smaller cocktail olives, but that’s just style. My wife’s thyme lemon drop cocktail was described as being served with a sugarcoated rim, but the entire bowl of the glass was coated in sugar powder. The sticky coating got all over unless the cocktail glass was held by the stem. Truffle spinach artichoke dip was heavy with truffle oil that overwhelmed any flavor from spinach. We found two thumb-sized pieces of artichoke that were too large to spoon onto a chip. Karoline mentioned Perry’s signature seasoning on our steaks, but my New York Strip was so heavily salted that it was inedible. My wife’s specialty King Filet had only a sprinkling of King Crab and was not a filet mignon, but a gristly sirloin. Au gratin potatoes were tasty with a thick layer of cheddar cheese. But the Sherry sautéed mushrooms were floating in a brown, oily Sherry stew. Presentation was unpleasant and the sauce completely overwhelmed any mushroom taste. On the whole, quite underwhelming.

    Personally my wife and I agree that the food was good but not worth the 427 dollars we spend on dinner for 2 with one bottle of wine and on appetizer. We had the king crab leg appetizer. It was one leg. Yes just one. We both had one bite and it was 50 bucks.

    My wife and I had an another great dinner at Perry’s. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the crab cake appetizer was beyond our expectation. Our server, Aspen was very attentive and made sure that we enjoyed our meal! We are looking forward to our next visit.

    I had a very good experience at Perry’s this evening. The food was very good and came very quickly. Service was swift and did not interfere with the experience. Servers were very friendly and respectful. The pork chop was absolutely outstanding, and the lobster mac and cheese never disappoints. The truffle fries were slightly conservative on the truffle but still very good. The pork chop is definitely a better value than the wagyu cuts. The Wagyu was very good but not quite ‘double the price’ good.
