Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Peter Luger at Caesars Palace offers a classic steakhouse experience with "amazing steaks" and an old-school Vegas vibe. While service can vary, standout dishes include the "must-have bacon appetizer" and "buttery, perfectly cooked steaks." Though pricey, many patrons find the quality and ambiance worthy of the cost.

As a native New Yorker and over 60 year patron of the Brooklyn location I was delighted when Peter Luger arrived in Vegas about 6 months after I moved here. The steaks are the equal of Brooklyn as are the shrimp, potatoes spinach, desserts and schlag. The rolls look the same but aren't as good and the tomatoes and onions are uneven and not consistently worthy of even being brought to the table. The wait staff is more accommodating and less brusque but still professional to the core. Peter Luger is not only the best steak house I've been to in Vegas but also the best value as they have maintained the NYC pricing which makes the outpost an outlier for reasonable prices in this tourist focused clip joint of a town. Remember that in NYC Peter Luger has been consistently regarded as the top steak in town for over 100 years, winning virtually every ratings list in my lifetime.

Great steaks in their signature style. Pricey though, plan for $100+ per person. Dessert was a bit underwhelming compared to dinner.

It is sad to leave a poor review for such an amazing establishment we have enjoyed time and time again. Our past experiences since this location has been open have been nothing short of amazing. Our first experience was December, three years ago for my girlfriend’s birthday with several of her closes friends. Last year with fewer friends was just as amazing. Dinner on our most recent trip a few days ago was amazing, however our lunch experience two days after, absolute terrible service. We saw the busser who filled our water, gave our to go containers, and cleared our table more than our server. We had empty martini glasses sitting at the end of our tables for over 15 minutes. We would had another round of drinks had he stopped by and not continue past our table. There was another couple sitting two tables across from us that he attended better to. We could have walked out and not pay the meal and he may not have noticed. In his defense it seemed he had a strange area to service, circling around the bar area but circling back to our empty drink glasses sitting very visibly at the end of the table should have been a sign. This was our last meal for our trip before our flight that day and it was sad to leave with such a poor experience. We left no tip. We easily and without hesitation leave a 25% for good service. The food was amazing like any other meal here. Their steaks are nothing short of brilliant. They melt in your mouth like fine butter. The bacon is a must. Their Luger sauce goes with the bread and the bacon. The drinks were stellar, we have enjoyed their espresso martinis, one of vodka and another tequila, grey goose martini dirty, and their single malt scotch selection is great. The lunch experience, if Juan was to serve us again, I would without hesitation request to sit elsewhere.

Ok, I love the Brooklyn location for years. Last year still the same and excellent. Yesterday was a nightmare service, a non waiter trying to take a drink order who didn’t know any of the liquors. Our 1st course arrived almost at that same time as the drinks. Bread was hard/stale. The meat was cut before it was brought to the table and was just warm. Wrong potatoes were brought to the table and the waiter blamed the runner even though he was right there with the stake. The creamed spinach was better than the original, shrimp were excellent, everything else was a pale in comparison. Still expensive through

Our lunch was wonderful. The service was excellent as always. The thick cut bacon is decedent. Our burgers were very flavorful.

Steak is tough, tomato app is boring, and 27 bucks for three pieces of plain bacon. Food has some quality to it but overall nothing special .

I went to restarant in New York. Expecting fine dining g this was a severe disappointment. The steak was done properly but the meat was so tough , it was not enjoyable. It was soaked in butter which made it taste even worsen. Never again will I go
