We made reservations to eat here for the first time. We wanted to sit out on the deck to watch the holiday drone show. Everyone else did, too, so it was super busy. But once I got the attention of a server to ask if he was our server, he came right over and gave us great service. *My teen had the chicken skewers and absolutely loved the red sauce it came with and the rice. * * We shared hummus and it was amazing. * And I had the beef carpaccio, which may have had a bit too much mustard on it, as the flavor of the beef got a little lost. * The glass of Italian red wine I had was terrific (I wasn't familiar with with the varietal)--but highly recommend it over a chianti. She wants to come back again! Her first time at Mediterranean, so I'm thrilled it was a great experience so we can enjoy this place again. *They have lap blankets and area heaters to help keep us warm; it was 52degrees out. *If you want to see the drone show, specify you want a table that will not block it with the PIAF sign hanging over the side of the building

Chicken Skewer was RAW. The response from the staff was “oh no, it’s probably because the pieces of chicken are so large.” They then proceeded to give us $10 off our bill. We left.

The goat app is fantastic, along with the meatballs. The cioppino is incredible. Unfortunately, the service experience didn’t live up to the food experience…our server and the bartender just didn’t seem happy to be at their job and working there. Maybe it was an off night for them, but it was disappointing to take people there for the first time and have a mediocre experience. Thank goodness the food made up for the less than medium service.

The male host in the upstairs patio area was rude and very disrespectful. The waiter and every staff member we encountered from that point on were wonderful. The food was amazing as usual. Enhance your mushroom ravioli with a chicken breast...it worked so well!
