Piazza D’Angelo is a family run Italian trattoria located in the heart of downtown Mill Valley. With a bustling bar scene and a natural light-soaked dining room, Piazza D'Angelo evokes a Southern Italian dining experience with a unique sense of home comfort.

Enjoy a variety of fresh pastas, wood-fired pizzas, antipasti, as well as fresh fish, prime meats and our signature tiramisu.

                                                                                              D'Angelo's is consistently good in all respects--food, service, ambience, etc. The butternut squash soup was particularly good. They were quite busy, as today was a fundraiser for victims of the Southern California wildfires, but they were still able to provide very good service in a very crowded restaurant.

And, many thanks for your fundraiser for those devastated by the LA fires and for the Pasadena Humane Society. You represent the community spirit we love in Mill Valley. And, the food is consistently fantastic!

                                                                                              In the special requests section of Open Table I asked that we be seated against a wall or corner so that the elderly diners would more easily hear each other. We were seated in a really good spot for them. Our server was attentive but did not rush us. The food was delicious! The focaccia was warm and fresh and tasted wonderful with pesto. Everyone loved their choices. My pear gorgonzola salad had just the right amount of dressing and the flavors went together so well.

                                                                                              Although the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night, the waitstaff handled their workload really well. The pleasant woman who seemed to be in control of the back of the house did a masterful job of ensuring that everyone got what they wanted. We very much appreciated that the servers worked in unison, and that no-one tried to befriend us or charm us--they just fed us! The food was very good, the menu offered plenty of options, and although the place was a little noisy because of the large number of diners, the atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. We plan to return.
