   We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely ambience and friendly service we received. The food was outstanding well preparing and presented. We will be back to visit again in the near future.

   I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had a new special, which was red snapper over mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back to this restaurant.

   The experience here was just okay. There was nothing overly negative that happened but there also wasn’t anything that was spectacular. My husband and I went there for my birthday. When I made the reservation on open table I checked the box for celebrating a birthday and there was no acknowledgment by any of the staff. This isn’t a deal breaker but it does show a lack of attention to detail. The food was fine. I ordered the chicken parm and my husband got their version of the Tour of Italy, which had lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, and a chicken parm cutlet. For both of us, the cutlets on the chicken parm were well fried and very crispy. That was definitely the highlight of the meal. The pasta that came with my dish was overcooked. My husband said the fettuccine he had was good but the lasagna was greasy and the pasta was undercooked. The service was fine, though it felt a bit rushed at the end. The only hiccup was they brought me the wrong drink but it was corrected.

   Piazza Mia always provides a warm,cozy atmosphere that welcomes you from the moment you walk in. You are greeted with a smile. Once seated, they share the best part, the homemade bread accompanied by garlic and oil. Every dish we have ordered from Piazza Mia was made with love and perfection. We have had many occasions with Piazza Mia including date nights, family gatherings, and after church lunches. We have always had top notch service and hospitality. Our kids enjoy the spaghetti that includes gelato afterwards. We enjoy the pasta, pizza, and soups especially. We love this place and you won’t be disappointed!

   A group of friends went out to celebrate finishing a bike ride in Dover. The food and wine was excellent. Our server Esther was friendly and very accommodating.

   Don't think I'll come back. It wasn't one thing, it was several. Party of six out for a birthday celebration. I got my usual Chicken Parmigiana and for the third time in a row coming here, it was over cooked. That's not a show stopper. My wife's pork was perfect. Everyone else's meals were fine. Here's something I noticed and was a topic of conversation... We come here regularly and I mentioned that it seems like every time we come, their is new wait staff. My sister told me that she had bumped into an acquaintance that had worked their for a short time and said that the wait staff has to share their tips with everyone else. On top of that, they charge the wait staff for cleaning their aprons. Take this hearsay evidence with a grain of salt but it seems very plausible given the turnover of staff. The final issue is when I used my credit card to pay, I was charged a fee for that pleasure. This is a real sticking point with me. It had never happened before and I should have been warned of the new policy. Rant: My wife is a Blackjack dealer and shares her tips with all the other dealers. Some people think the sharing of tips is fair... I'm not in that that camp. Your personality and capability can garner bigger tips and one should be encouraged by that fact. My wife has studied every variation of games at her casino because that's her personality. She's worked very hard to learn everything about her job and should reap the benefits. Others only learn the basic blackjack game but benefit from my wife's hard work. Players of blackjack, like restaurant customers, will tip based on their experience. It often times doesn't matter if the player loses if the experience was positive. Same in the restaurant business, if you get a bad meal but the wait staff bends over backwards to fix the issue, a good tip is the reward. That's the way it should be. Their must be respect for the wait staff is my point! Rant over...

    Had a reservation at 6 pm for 4 people and the hostess argued with me that it was for 6 people and wanted to put us at a table for 8:( Waiter had no clue on alcoholic drinks and we Ben admitted he knew nothing about drinks. Food was cold when it came out and had to be sent back to reheat. Claims no meat sauce, however had meat sauce for lasagna? Very disappointed in meal and restaurant this time. Will not return.
