   London-esque noisy bustle with attentive staff. Cocktail delicious and wine good. Disappointing main courses - branzino tasted good but was over cooked so did not fall away from the skin as it should with very overcooked potatoes; chicken pasta with spring veg was somewhat bland and contained very little chicken! Overall for the quality on this evening not value for money. Will probably try again another day.

   Having dined in several other Piccolinos over a number of years we found our experience here very disappointing . The room looks great , the food was good but the service completely lets it down . The staff were indifferent and seemed not to want to be there . A young waiter was outright rude to us . When I raised this with a gentleman on the desk when leaving he clearly wasn’t interested . Embarrassing as I’ve recommended it to friends already based on our experience with Piccolinos in Cheshire

   Gorgeous decor, staff extremely efficient and friendly. Only 4 stars because the Spaghetti Ragu (bolognaise) was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen!! So that was over priced sadly. Rest was lovely.

   The restaurant is lovely decorated beautifully and clean although there are a lot of tables so a little crowded ! My husbands food was perfect but sadly my lasagne was cool in the middle. The waitress was lovely and changed the meal straightaway but it did take the edge of the experience. I hate sending food back but don’t feel it’s fair to pay a fair amount for sub standard food!!

   Fantastic evening at Piccolino. Lovely food and beautiful restaurant. Staff were excellent and quickly helped resolve a small problem with my daughter's meal. 1 star removed from value as I felt the desserts were overpriced for what came. Overall highly recommended and I will be back.

   This is like the Ivy but Italian style - Very good decor, service and food quality. Staff went out of their way to make our visit very enjoyable.

   We were kept waiting for 14mins for the booked table, without being able to go to the bar, as so busy. The food was less than average. My carbonara was pasta not gluten free spaghetti that I ordered, with a pale yellow very poor sauce with no sign of eggs yokes or Parmesan cheese. The two portions of lasagna, had no resemblance to the picture in the menu ; it was served with a jug of exceptionally strong blue cheese sauce, that ruined the dish. The Provance rose wine was sharp, not smooth, it tasted cheap but was costly. Waiters were running around but ignoring our requests. The decoration had a very stylish quality, it was tragic the food did not reflect that. We were very disappointing, there are far better restaurants in Chichester for beautiful taste food.
