Exchange Square is one of London’s largest public spaces. It’s close to Liverpool Street Station, as well as Spitalfields, Bishopsgate and Moorgate. Exchange Square is home to Fernando Botero’s stunning Broadgate Venus. Specially commissioned for Broadgate and weighing five tonnes, this magnificent statue is a long-standing favourite across the neighbourhood.

    Venue was cold and part of our table had to sit in coats. Seemed understaff as waiting time throughout the meal was dragged out. The starter and mains we had were lukewarm/ cold and we were so hungry we ate the meal to avoid waiting any longer. Staff was friendly but felt disappointed overall as it was birthday meal out and didn’t get value for money. Would unfortunately not visit again despite enjoying other piccolino venues.

    Waiting staff were friendly and efficient and there is a lot of choice on the menu across all courses. We shared a small anti-pasti plate to start between three which was the perfect size (it would probably be big enough for a main for one person). And I had the Amalfini pizza which was delicious. The portion size is good, the ingredients fresh and there's a promotion of 15% on Monday & Tuesday if you sign up to Club IR (which is free to do). The venue itself was busy and lively, but not too noisy and there is outdoor seating which would be lovely in the warmer weather. With the discount and optional service charge, our meal was £56 pp which included 2.5 courses (with the sharing platter for a starter) and a bottle of Prosecco, so I would consider it somewhere to go for a treat/celebration, but would definitely recommend and visit again.

    Eventually we found it . Had lunch menu which was 28 for three glorious courses. Lovely staff. Great value.

    Took some clients out for lunch. The food was very tasty, I ordered a glass of wine which didn't arrive during my meal and I didn't chase the waiter for it, but when the waiter realised I didn't receive it he offered it to me for free, which was great! The service was excellent. A bit noisy, which I don't mind as I can be louds but good atmosphere.

    I visited Piccolino for dinner with a friend last night, I had never been to this restaurant before so wasn’t sure what to expect but they were offering a free bottle of Prosecco so we figured we’d give it a go. We sat outside as the weather was nice and we were greeted by a lovely waiter called Maurizio, he was extremely accommodating, patient with us when we took a long time to choose our food and also made recommendations which turned out to be amazing (Tagliatelle Al Salmon). We received the free Prosecco as well as 15% off of our bill so it turned out to be very reasonably priced and we both enjoyed our meals (and the Prosecco) as well as Maurizio’s company. We’ve already arranged to go back next week :)
