   Our server was so kind in helping to celebrate my birthday last night and the ambience was classy but very chill. I ordered the Hand-Rolled Three Finger Cavatelli (roasted chicken, wild mushroom porcini cream, SarVecchio Parmesan, chives) which was so delicious my husband kept sneaking bites from my plate too!

   The food never disappoints at Piccolo. However, our biggest upset last night was our waiter, Joe. From the very beginning he was rushed and seemed very annoyed by simple requests (more water, extra cup for sparkling water, etc) - not to mention he would need to be reminded to bring these items. He rolled his eyes a lot and did not seem to care about giving any standard of service. Typically when you go to restaurants, waiters work to earn their tip. Joe did the exact opposite. As soon as he picked up plates, he just slid a dessert menu under my elbow and walked away. We decided to order coffee instead of dessert, and to our surprise, he brings us the check immediately after coffee was served without saying a word. Again, normally you would get a 'thank you for dining with us today, it was a pleasure..." etc, etc. Joe did not say a word and made our experience terrible last night. We would definitely come back for the food, but we will most definitely request another waiter if Joe waits our table.

   The food was good and price was acceptable. The ambience was ok- we were sat right by the serving window of kitchen. Aldo our server screwed up our bill and when we asked him to fix he never came back. He just sent a manager over. It was awkward and not a major issue but he made it seem like it was. He also never stopped talking to the point that it was awkward when he would stop by the table and not leave.

   Went there after a Hawks game. Delicious as always. Actually had 2 orders of the squash blossoms for three of us it is our fave. We had the Pepperoni pizza and the Carbonara pizza. Both were fantastic. I had a glass of the Piccolo Pinot Gricio and it was great. Just a touch of sweetness which I love. The seasonal dessert was gone in a flash. Service was well paced. The noise level can be tough for older adults or those looking to chat and catch up. We will be back!!

   Piccolo Buco, you've stolen my heart! We celebrated my birthday here and had an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and exceptional service made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely divine! The meat and cheese tray was expertly curated, with each bite a perfect balance of flavors and textures. And the carbonara pizza? Creamy, rich, and utterly addictive! But what truly elevated our evening were the espresso martinis - bold, velvety, and the perfect way to cap off our meal.     The food and wine were excellent, everything came out promptly, and the accommodations for dietary restrictions and adjustments were fantastic. Great vibe within the restaurant as well!
