   While my server for my meal was excellent, the young women at the front desk were rude and seemed to not know how to treat a new customer. The person who seated me was very inconsiderate. The business should re-evaluate who they hire to seat their clients.

   Was super excited after looking at the menu on line, decided to take my relatives her for Brunch. The location was great, right on the water great views. That’s where the good experience ended. The server was clearly overwhelmed with a large table and apparently had no ability to multitask. She easily could have asked for assistance as the place wasn’t that busy being it was a rainy day. She took forever to get us the basic things (water coffee & drinks. One of us ordered white wine and she brought red, realized the mistake and 20 minutes later brought the proper drink. Another 15/20 minutes (no joke) & she returned to grab our order. Fast forward forever and 1/2 of the order came to the table, food runner stated the rest was right behind, Nope! Finally all the food was at the table, and of course mine was cold and not what I ordered. At this point it was hopeless to try to rectify the situation. I flagged down the apparent in charge person and said, can we just get what we ordered? She apologized and said her server was overwhelmed, blah blah, not my problem! Unfortunately I will never go back again! Hopefully others will have a better experience.

   This was our New Years Eve as we had been under the weather as they say to celebrate on New Years Eve. So it was special for us this being our second NYE together. We wanted to really enjoy the experience and dine slowly which our very attentive server noted and checked on us but gave us our space. I had the special of the day …corvina fish which was generous and delicious. We asked to have our veggies cooked a bit more as in the past we thought they were undercooked. They also were good. I love extra olives in my martini which am shy to ask for but they produced them right away. It was a really nice evening. My friend thought his piccata sauce was too creamy to be real piccata sauce but she said that is how they make it. It was a great evening out.

   The food was phenomenal. Apps were great…entrees were better. The server was very nice and made some great recommendations. We will be back.

   I had booked our reservation almost two months out. Originally I asked for outside seating but as our reservation got closer seeing it was going to be cold I changed it to a seating inside with a view of the water as this was for our Christmas dinner together. We arrived 15 mins early and were told they had our seat for outside. When I asked about my request for inside they said they didn’t have anything available. As We were deciding whether to stay or go find another place to eat a hosts came over to say they had a booth inside. That was very kind of her. We took the booth which was a little tight for our group but doable. The only negative was it was right by a busy walkway to the outside with the servers and food runners so it was very hard to hear each other. Otherwise our server Michele did a great job and the food came out hot and tasty for most of the meals. The lobster tails were a little over cooked but the crab cakes, grouper, salmon and prime rib dishes were spot on. When we eat here again will call to confirm our seating choice instead of relying on open table. I should have thought to do this with a special occasion.

   Always a great experience at PIER 22. The wait staff and service are excellent. The food was perfect. We were meeting friends vacationing in FL and they were impressed !

    Food was good. We had grouper, mahi tuna, and halibut. All was tasty! Best of all was our server, Darryl! It was his first day serving but definitely not his first rodeo! He knew the details of specials, was very attentive, made suggestions on food and drink. We couldn’t believe it was his first day serving! He’s a keeper!!! Very well done, Darryl!!!
