Italian Restaurant& wine bar in Sarasota. Where you are a stranger only once.
His philosophy served him well with his previous Sarasota businesses. Café Gabbiano located on Siesta Key was originated by the Migliaccio family in 2003 where is four sons grew in and out of the restaurant business.
A second venture in downtown Sarasota was opened and designed by Pietro in 2012 named Casantica, a small old house converted to a quaint homey restaurant. Both restaurants are now under new ownership.
Now, this small intimate place is where I can have fun serving and meeting new friends. Benvenuti.

We’ve dined at Pietro’s several times. The new venue is quite small but nothing else has changed. The food and service are excellent and Pietro makes the rounds at each table several times. Definitely recommend!

I love love Pietro’s. I am so happy to see them reopen after going to So. trail site for years. Now they are even closer. Pietro and Susan and the whole staff are wonderfully welcoming and efficient. I will go there again and again.

It was our first time at their new location and it’s frankly easier to find and park. We were greeted very warmly, our guests arrived earlier and were already seated. Pietro cam out and also welcomed us. He is a master at hospitality and has just wonderful food. The hose wines are superb and you shouldn’t hesitate to sample any of them. We had 3 different wines and they were all excellent.

The food at Pietro's is always so delicious that we keep returning time after time and year after year. The daily specials offer an interesting variety of options...LOVE all of the pasta dishes! Wine selection is terrific and the staff are always willing to give recommendations . The new location is a bit small, but very cozy. The owners, Pietro and Susan, are wonderful humans. Kudos to all of the staff: EVO, Wendy, Johanna, and Alejandro! A must go to in Sarasota!
