   Lovely setting and the play area makes this a great family friendly option. My only issue was that there were no gluten free options on the menu, when staff were asked what menu options could be made gluten free they were only able to offer gluten free bread. Otherwise we had a lovely meal and would still recommend a visit but hopefully the menu can be updated to include some gluten free option and clarify what menu items can be made gluten free.

   Staff were super friendly and service was great. The restaurant was so noisy that our table of 8 could hardly hear what the person across the table was saying. Food was good, but not great for the $70 per head lunch. Stunning location and vibe when not so many diners. Would go back again with a changed menu. Having to choose 2 pasta dishes and one other main at lunchtime was too heavy.

   A few things… •I found the entrance was not very obvious from the road. •When we arrived we were standing, waiting to be served for ~10 mins. It’s not hard to just acknowledge your guests and let them know that you will be with them soon. •The restaurant noise/ acoustics is very loud making conversation difficult. •I felt the $10pp corkage very expensive! •Food value for money was average. •At 9.30pm we were ushered out.

   Really great spot. Food was delicious. Service was very good. When I went it was a very hot day and as the place is all open but has covered roof it was very hot. I thought the corkage charge was a bit high. $10 per person.

   Great location and the Pasta we had was excellent. The sourdough starter would have been better if the bread was warmed up. Trying to finalise the bill at the end took an age - there was lots of too-ing and fro-ing, but finally all done. Needs some staff training on how to do this quickly I think. Good night.

   Pipies is in a beautiful location overlooking Gunnamatta Bay, Cronulla. The staff and service are excellent and very attentive. Whilst the food is also very good it is overpriced for what it is. They are still awaiting their liquor licence, but with BYO charges the cost is just over $100 a head which is getting into the fine dining pricing and it is not fine dining. It feels about 20% too expensive.

    We arrived at our booking slightly before our booking. So when we were told to wait to the side for 5 minutes we had no issue with this. However for the following 20 minutes, the server sat people behind us in the line at their tables. This was frustrating as we had a baby in the group who was in the hot sun who was becoming a bit distressed. It took one of our group lining back up for us to finally be seated. Our order was taken quickly but one pizza arrived with a hair in it. When flagged with staff they did replace it but this meant one in the group was eating 25 minutes after everyone else. Additionally it would be nice for the servers to advise the table that each wine glass bought to the table would cost 10 dollars.
