Excellent restaurant, food/service best in San Miguel. Only issue is with the prices of wine per bottle or per glass way too expensive!

Very expensive meal, very beautiful grounds and ambiance, very expensive wine list. Also music in restaurant way too loud. Be sure to bring a coat on a chilly night.

The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful. The food was some of the best we have had in San Miguel. The menu is creative and all the ingredients are fresh. It is in the pricier side, but the food is worth it. The only downside is the mark up and price of their wine. On some bottles the mark up is 300 percent. We know wine, and the retail prices in San Miguel, they should reconsider the prices next time we will brimgvwine from our own cellar despite the 50.00 USD corkage fee they charge.

Service was extremely slow. Did not enjoy all the food. Appetizers were brought at the same time of main dishes and we lad a long wait before the serve them.

Really one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We love and eat good and different types of Mexican food often in South Texas but this was an incredibly creative twist presented like art. Everything we ordered had deep and sometimes surprising flavors. It was my wife’s birthday and Pirules made it special. For drinks my wife ordered a tequila based cocktail that came over a beautiful ice cube. I ordered a wild mix of gin, carrot juice, Campari and turmeric whipped into an orange brew. My wife loved hers but I just could get into the bitterness of my drink. Luckily, for us, they accidentally delivered two specialty Palomas to us. They apologized and graciously insisted that we accept them for free. Those were incredibly delicious. We loved everything we ordered including octopus tlayuda, sweet potato (the way it’s presented is awesome), and roasted endive for appetizers and grilled sea bass and a barbacoa prepared Cornish hen with black beans and delicious tortillas. The dessert was a shock because we were full but just wanted to try something. It was interesting that they didn’t have anything chocolate on the menu. We somewhat reluctantly ordered the pear. It was wondrous in a way completely unexpected. Baked pear in a yogurt and creme sauce with pear sorbet. Hard to explain. Hard to forget. They also brought us a delicious cheese cake with marzipan flowers for my wife’s birthday. Gorgeous. Everything was presented beautifully with care. The service from Cesar and Diego was fantastic. The restaurant is new and we were there on a very slow Sunday night so we had lots of attention but just the right amount of information and suggestions. The setting is gorgeous with a thatch bamboo roof and trees sprouting from the floor. Since we are on vacation, we weren’t really paying attention to prices but when we got the bill we were surprised in a good way. We thought it would be around $200 US more than it was. Highly recommended
