Located on Chelsea’s iconic Fulham Road, PJ'S Chelsea Brasserie has been a continuous favourite amongst trendy locals for years. The name Polo Joe’s along with its polo-themed interior and the handsomely suspended wooden aeroplane propeller above the bar is a tribute to owner Brian Stein's favourite sport and creates a unique and welcoming setting for relaxed meals with family and friends.

    PJs is an institution, great atmosphere, wonderful variety of food choices and, most importantly, brilliant staff. We are made to feel so welcome at PJs by everyone and it makes such a difference to the evening being greeted by lovely staff that smile and know the menu inside out. We are always open to taking recommendations from the menu and really we haven’t found a fault. Last night, being a Friday, was “beer battered fish and chips”, which was outstanding. Well done to the PJs team for making the place so welcoming and hospitable. We love it.

    I had previously voted this brassiere and had a poor experience. Cold and under cooked food. I decided to test them again having booked in advance for a larger group for May this year. On arrival I immediately was greeted by a surly duty manager explaining from the get go my past experience and expected this time round the service to be on point and the food delivered hot. Second time round the service was worse that the first long pauses in between courses food arrived cold sent back and arrived second time round cold and inedible. We ordered two bottles of Rioja to be served at room temperature arrived cold directly out of the chiller. Nonchalant attitude to our complaints no apology. Prices are high, service is poor and the food well below par. Cancelled out party of twelve for May on the spot and would suggest to avoid at all cost.

    We had a lovely birthday dinner here. The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful - they wrote my girlfriend a card and brought her out a cake (all I did was put ‘birthday’ on the booking!). Food was delicious and options were great. We did starters and mains which gave us 50% off food so made the whole experience premium but affordable. Would definitely recommend for a celebration, but we’ll also be back to try more of their menu and brunch!

    Revisiting PJs on our trip to London after several years absence, we had a great evening! The food was excellent, service wonderful. From the fish and chips and filet steak to the incredible merlot-Cottage pie, everything was exceptional! They have a very good wine list that seems to cater to all tastes, as well as a full bar, and our waiter was knowledgeable and experienced. We couldn't have asked for a better dinner or service! Definitely recommend!

    Possibly my favourite place in London. I go very regularly and have never had a bad experience. The food is always great, an excellent cocktail menu and the staff are so friendly and accommodating.
