   The service here is amazing. Our waiter was truly a great time and really helpful. The food however wasn't the best. Salmon was a bit salty with a really rich risotto. The fried shrimp plate was great but does only come with 4 shrimp through they are fairly large.

   Date night with my husband, and we had a wonderful time! Stratton gave us delicious recommendations, and they didn't disappoint!

   Hosted a small work dinner at Plank. Waiter was on point and very helpful. We went before 6:00 and were able to take advantage of their $1 oyster special. Oysters were fresh, tasty and a real treat. Waiter helped with recommendations. I had the grilled cobia which was excellent.

   Upon arrival it was 4-5 minutes before anyone said hello, we will be right with you, anything despite the staff constantly walking by. After being sat it took probably around the same amount of time to be recognized as a new table…. As we finally got the ball rolling it 3 items were 86’ed on the menu. Once we sorted through the non updated internet menu, my food was over cooked the first time, my lady was not going to say anything about her overcooked salmon. When I returned my dried out Redfish, I received an undercooked rare steak, which I just as I wanted to move on with life at this point. We ordered dessert which was frozen solid and not edible for a while. Overall the experience with the server was great, the sushi was pretty good, the sprouts were good, and the removed from the 86 menu beets were delicious, the rest was a cook rushing the process and obviously just rushing the order versus letting things cook properly. In my 30 years of being a culinary leader and operations manager, I felt that a visit to the table from the manager was warranted, but obviously the Plank is to cool for school. Two managers, half to almost full empty restaurant you would think that a table visit was the right thing to do. But hey to each their own.

   The special on oysters was terrific. Service however was subpar with long waits for drinks even though they were not that busy.

   Had a reservation set for 7:15. Restaurant was quiet and not busy. Specifically picked here because so many open reservations on the app - we wanted to get in and out. There were not a lot of patrons when we walked in. After being seated outside; we waited 8 minutes before the waiter was able to come by. During this time, 4 different employees verbally look at us (waiter, staff that brought out food and the hostess) as we sat and waited. We almost got up to leave but the waiter came by; he was nice and took our drink orders. My husband's old fashion was great. We placed 2 orders for appetizers & entrees and the starters came out relatively quickly. 20 minutes went by after we had finished the starter and the waiter brought a cup of the clam chowder and explained 2 large parties, one of 16 and another one bigger than 5 walked in and our orders were put in the same time as theirs. We had to wait an additional 10 mins after he let us know that. While the cup of soup was nice, I expected the manager to come by as this was a big enough deal for him to acknowledged with the soup. Food was great. The menu has been significantly reduced; some of my favorite items were gone.

    We ordered quite a few appetizers and meals, and every single thing they brought to the table was above and beyond! Great flavors great service, and great time!
