Planta was opened with the purpose of creating delicious food that promotes environmental sustainability. Under Chef David Lee, Planta aimed at filling a void in the market of upscale, full service, plant-based dining options. The restaurant's vision is to celebrate innovative cuisine in a beautiful environment without the use of any animal products.

    Food was incredible as always. I highly recommend this place not only for vegans, meals were delicious, filling, and brought out in a timely manner.  I love this place, it will always be my top pick when it comes to dining out in Toronto.

    Some of the items on the menu are stellar, some, in my personal opinion, are way better at Planta queen...the ambience is lovely, but lights and noise could stand to be dimmed a bit to make it all a bit cozier. the service was attentive. overall a great experience.

    Love this restaurant. This time was a business type meeting and my colleague was more than 30 minutes late. The staff was great - no pressure to order etc. enjoyed the food immensely. She is not a vegetarian but loved it!!

    We reserved for our anniversary dinner and were sent back when reached the restaurant. I understand they had unforseen issues but I wished they let us know a bit earlier which could have saved us a trip during a cold evening.

    great vibes, they didn’t have our updated reso time when we arrived and told us they’d have a table in a few minutes, which turned into a half hour wait. not enough runners to run drinks from bar to table. our server, anna, was incredible though!!
