   Overpriced and bland food. The tagliatelle was incredibly boring. The lobster bisque contained no lobster. Could go on and on. Have a drink at the bar and enjoy the ambiance. Avoid the squarely mediocre restaurant.

   Although PlumpJack is expensive, we always have a great time here. My steak was especially good. Highly recommended.

   Would not do it again and wish we could rewind time. Sub par server, quail was delicious but the rest of it, all of it, was not. The rice with the duck breast was literally crunchy raw while the duck itself was good. It was like half the plate was good but the other was so bad it took over the whole experience. I saw plenty of plates going back with food on it and I couldn’t help but think it was because it wasn’t good. It was really odd. The server never questioned the returned uneaten lobster bisque. I had one bite and my husband thought I was being strange and he tried it as well, much to his dismay. I had heard lovely things about it and it was a complete let down. I rarely leave negative reviews but this was…just that bad.

   We arrived exactly at 7:30pm, a reservation we made weeks in advance. When we checked in we were told they were in the midst of cleaning our table. After 20 minutes, my husband walked in and there were no tables open. They lied to us. We ended up in the hallway ordering from the bar.

   Wonderful ambiance, service staff. Menu was a bit limited - there were only 4 or 5 mains and were either a pasta or very pricy meat dish like duck or a large steak we weren’t interested in.
