For fifteen years Poco has been the East Village hot spot. Poco's Lobster Mac and Cheese has been a stand out for over a decade and pair that with the Pat LaFrieda Beef Sliders and you can't go wrong. This is my 2nd time coming to poco. My first experience was pretty bad, but this was one was 1000 time better. I loved the food and drinks and the service was great. Now i see the big hype on poco. Definitely want to come back again.

The food was very good, however it seems like the restaurant was understaffed as we had to wait a long time for our food to come out. The waiter was apologetic and did let us know that the kitchen was backed up, but we still had to wait over an hour for our food. When it did come, it came all at once, except for 2 of our dishes (the PEI Mussels and the skirt steak). It was another 30 - 40 minute wait for that. It was a place that was tasty, but not stand out enough for me to go back if the service is consistently slow, especially on Saturday nights.
