   The food was good, but my water wasn’t once refilled after the food was brought out and my cup was empty for at least 15 minutes until we left.

   Pizza was delicious. Our wait person was great. The host? On another planet. When I arrived he was busy looking at seating chart. I then waited patiently for him to talk with a staff member, thinking when he finished he would lift his head and acknowledge my presence. He didn’t. He went right to doing something on his cell phone. I finally just asked him if he was available to help me. He reluctantly responded and showed me to my table.

   My party and I wanted to try something new and had heard great things about the food. The food was great but wished the service would’ve matched. From the beginning our server questioned if she had already greeted us. Moving forward we noticed the table next to us had to flag our waiter for their pasta since it never came out. We got our appetizer and drinks which were great but after the appetizer no one came to check on us till we flagged our waiter down to let her know if we could order our meals. She took our orders but did not write them down. About 15-25 minutes later she came by and noticed we didn’t have anything on the table and asked us again what we ordered. The entire time our waters got refilled once and it was only one person and not the entire table. We finally got our food and two of us had asked for drinks since ours were empty at this time. The drinks never came so we had to eat without any beverage. Really wanted to enjoy a nice dinner but the service unfortunately ruined it for that night. The assistant manager Austin was great and super pleasant. The manager seemed like she did not want to address the situation but if it would not have been as unpleasant we would not have had to get anyone involved.

   Pomo's food, service and ambience are pretty consistently excellent, and we were looking forward to sitting outside for Sunday lunch on a nice day before it turns too hot. But there was a DJ blasting loud, hard-beat music out there, making it almost impossible to have a conversation without yelling and straining to hear. (On a Friday or Saturday night, I totally get it, but it seemed really inappropriate and unnecessary on a Sunday afternoon!) So we had our lunch inside. Food and service still great, but disappointed not to be able to enjoy being outside.

   It was our first tome dining here and we went on a Thursday evening. Was definitely understaffed. We had to ask after 15 min of waiting for someone to take our orders. When food came out, lasagna was cold and one of the pizza’s crust was burnt. We asked for a side of bread with the lasagna but it came so late that we all were finished eating and were ready to check out. I felt very bad for our new server as they were clearly running around but management definitely needs to staff more people because we kept having to ask other staff to assist us even with the check.

   Pizza was excellent as always. The charcuterie board had disappointingly scant amounts of salumi and cheese. Was there a volume reduction due to the tariff scare? I would not order in the future. They should look at the Salumi board of L' Antica de Michele in Los Angeles and replicate it for a more impressive board.

   Sat on patio & had an awesome server. Sorry I can’t remember his name as I would like to give him special recognition. We loved being out on the patio on a beautiful evening. We started with the zucchini appetizer which I would not order again. The zucchini was cut paper, thin and fried. Very different than I expected and very greasy. We also ordered a Caprese salad and was a little surprised at how small it was. Three of us had the Taglioni Bolognese and all loved it. The other person had a shrimp and pasta dish and she said it was quite good. When the bill came, we were all surprised that we were charged for bread. I can’t remember going to an Italian restaurant and not being provided bread complementary.

    Excellent food, great service, overpriced (but what isn’t anymore!) great date night restaurant, but depends on the night if you want a quiet atmosphere. Love this place and will definitely go back. Sometimes it’s packed and loud with an exciting vide. Other it’s quiet and romantic. Press your luck, because either way you’ll get a great meal!
