Established in 1992, Porcini is an independent, award-winning restaurant located in the Historic Crescent Hill neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. We specialize in Northern Italian cuisine, excellent service, and offer an extensive selection of fine wines, bourbons, and signature cocktails. We had another outstanding meal at Porcini! This is our go to place whenever we are in town. It’s always reliably delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing and the service is never rushed.

Came here for our wedding anniversary. Atmosphere is lovely. Service was smooth and timely. Shrimp appetizer we shared was delicious. Lamb chops entree was rather fatty and a little bland on flavor (herbs etc). Mushroom risotto was the star of the meal. Asparagus was spot-on. Fried pork chop entree was very good. Chocolate cake dessert was surprisingly a ho-hum. I love the place and would return and probably try the pasta entrees for sure next time, as I know they’d be wonderful too.

We sorted with the goat cheese! Oh that was so creamy and delicious! Risotto for me and salmon for my husband…and a little birthday dessert, which we had to pay for? My husband’s bourbon was top shelf but not noted on the the menu…? Yikes..,lesson learned..

Was not what I expected. Food was just so so. Seating was not great as we had servers and guests hitting us each time they walked by our seats. Just made for an unpleasant dining experience.

Our first visit to Porcini’s, the ambiance is so inviting and warm. We were in a smaller room with about 25 other diners, including a birthday celebration that made for an extremely loud environment! The service was slow in getting an initial drink order, but it wasn’t the servers fault. I believe she was the only one for the whole room. The water server was very efficient. The food was excellent! We will go back. The food is worth it!

Fantastic food, service, and setting. I tried the scallops and they were Devine. My wife had her favorite, grilled salmon. One of the BEST restaurants in Louisville!!

Service was great. Quick, friendly, and knowledgeable service. The food was good. We had dessert as well. I would recommend for them to get at least one child booster or high chair.
