   We’ve eaten here several times previously and we’ve always enjoyed exceptional food. To celebrate new year, we chose starters of lobster linguine and smoked haddock. They were superb. We had the following main courses: moules et frites, pork belly and seafood curry. They were mostly good, though I was disappointed with my pork belly which wasn’t at all crispy and consisted mostly of fat. There was hardly any meat. I would still come back, but given the price tag I’d hope this was an exception. The service was excellent as was the ambience and the location couldn’t be better.

   We booked a table for New Year’s Eve and were told that the restaurant was fully booked and that we could watch the fireworks at 12 as it was NYE. There wasn’t any atmosphere and restaurant was almost empty by 11pm. Food wasn’t great, menu limited especially for vegetarians, one main we had to send back and both fish dishes were under cooked so hard to dissect the bones. Overall poor experience and very expensive for the quality and experience we had. It Maybe different when it’s not NYE but we won’t be back to try. Thanks to our waitress though, she was great.

   Fantastic New Years Eve dinner. Staff were excellent and efficient, so friendly and accommodating. We stayed to watch the New Year fireworks with a cocktail in hand. Perfect start to the new year. Would highly recommend. Thank you

   Fish turbot was plain not much flavour. Fish curry was very good and pork belly wasn't a lot of it. Service was very good. It was very noisy the waiter spoke so quietly it was a struggle to hear him. The food was overpriced for what it was.

   Great experience for a New Year’s Eve lunch! Party of 7 including 3 children. Excellent service especially as the restaurant was busy! Food was excellent. Lovely view of the sea!

   The most gorgeous lunch at the cafe! This will have been our 3rd time and as always it’s excellent! Perfect location, perfect food. We had all the fresh local seafood, from smoked haddock, lobster, mussels. My young son had the kids fish and chips. It was all totally amazing and well worth the cost. You pay For good food, and this was outstanding. Amazing attentive staff who were lovely. This is the best restaurant in St Ives! And Cornwall in fact

    Shared the lunch set menu with my wife and daughter so that we could each try as much of the menu as possible. We all loved it. We will be back!
