Food was the star here. Felt like I was getting the exact plate of food from my nonna it was very good. The atmosphere was good but it was just little things that was off. I felt like before walking in it was very fine dine and it's more a resteraunt feel than a fine dine experience, as I thought it was more upscale dining. Service was average but a good average of that makes sense. Only reason I say average is because when you get in the staff were kinda of just staring at us all the time hahah made it a little awkward at first but we brushed it off and had a good time non the less. overall 7/10 for us but a strong 7 as the food saved this whole experience. It was also my wife's bday and they were nice enough to give our dessert on the house so shout out for thay it was much appreciated

My friends from Florida and another couple and I had dinner on a Sunday night. It was not too busy, as the weather was very hot, but we were comfortable in the lovely air conditioned room. We had one of the set menus and we all enjoyed our selections. The server was attentive and friendly, which added to our wonderful dining experience.

It was our 2nd time at Portobello; first was a Wednesday night when the dinner special is offered, an amazing deal, 3 courses for $39. It was also very quiet. Second visit was a Friday night, no special dinner price, and busier so the noise level was up but regardless the food is wonderful and the service and atmosphere lovely. We will definitely be back! I would recommend Portobello to a friend and have done so.

birthday dinner for my adult godson. Restaurant was full on a Sunday night at the end of June. Excellent dinner speicials at a very reasonable price. Service was very good as was the food. A bit noisy due to a fairly large group of people but they were a happy group so there was no problem.
