We define ourselves as a Modern American Restaurant focused on local & seasonal ingredients wherever possible. We balance these with worldly ingredients, which are reinterpreted in an inviting & familiar way, to create an eclectic range of dishes. POUR prides itself on using carefully selected ingredients, which we prepare from scratch daily, to deliver to our guests. We hope to bring not only a new & unique dining experience to people in the area, but also to serve as a vessel to for the plethora of local producers to showcase their own talents & products. Pour has an extensive wine list, and hand made craft cocktail selection, along with over 15 beers on tap.

    We have been going to Pour for the last 4 years. This is where we had wagyu steak for the first time and it’s the reason we kept going back. We drove an hour and a half and were very disappointed that they no longer served this item. It seems like the restaurant is going in the wrong direction. Maybe they’re trying to save money? I can honestly say that we won’t be dining here ever again unless they bring back the wagyu steak. That was their best item and without it, I honestly don’t see a point in going back there!

    We throughly enjoyed our dinner. The Atmosphere was casual and on trend. Our meals were delicious. Our server was very attentive even though we were there at the end of the evening. We will definitely return.

    Pour is an upscale bar with a variety of table choices (booths, tables, hi-tops, bar). All are spaced nicely and you can choose the type when making a reservation-and yes, we like the opportunity to make reservations. The menu has so many choices it is always hard to make a decision. The staff are well versed in describing each item. In a previous visit I loved the barrata fried green tomato’s. But in line with Pour focussing on farm to table it was not available tonight. A waiter we had on a previous visit recommended the barrata tomato appetizer. It had peas and delightful jalapeños(very small and subtle). I had the scallops. A generous portion however incredible quality and taste. I am an East Coast guy and these are special; including the sides. We started with a good old fashion (and yes, I am picky) followed by a nice bottle of Sancerre. I would be remiss if I did not mention the staff. Everyone of them are professionally friendly, show team and are attentive to all customers.

    Great experience! We were seated at the back in a semi private space which we preferred as it was quiet. Our server, Maddie, was attentive without being intrusive. The food was wonderful from our apps to dessert. We had tuna roll for starters, then brown butter Brussels sprouts , two entries: scallops and sweet potato/squash curry, then sparkling wine and chocolate pie. Each plate was beautifully presented and the food was delicious. My scallop entree was exceptional with house made ricotta, fresh peas and radish. Clearly the chef is creative and enjoys experimenting. We hope to come back next time we are in Petoskey.
