   The restaurant was small but nice, waitress was nice but could use a little more personality. We had the Soul bowls, and the Catfish was great, greens were a bit salty, mac n cheese was a bit dry wan unusually dark. Yams was $9 additional for a small single serving had an unusual flavor that i couldn't quite place but kind of tasted like Burbon or whiskey in it. I think the pricing was a bit steep for the small bowl portion, but they gave you plenty of corn bread and served our drinks in plastic cups. average cost was around $30 per person.

   Overall, I had an ok experience at this restaurant. We were on vacation and saw an Instagram video on it. I came for the soul rolls and at 3:30 p.m., they were sold out! They weren't crowded at all, but they may have had a lunch rush. So I was highly disappointed. My meal was good. It was nothing to scream about. The service was just okay as well. The next time I visit Las Vegas, I will make an attempt to return and get the soul rolls. Hopefully they wont run out so soon.

   Excellent service and the food was fantastic. We had reservations for 10 and the wait time was long (a little over 2 hours) but we had such a good time with each other it went by quickly. The food was delicious and our server Channel was amazing.

   The portion sizes were very large which was great however seasoning wise it was a bit heavy handed on the greens and too salty for tolerance. The rice was underdone despite being covered with the étouffée’. The cornbread was dense. The grits were bottom pot clumps not creamy or runny at all. We were a bit confused on why there was an option for having or possibly needing to make a reservation when the restaurant was very empty except for a two to go orders. Nevertheless as residents of the south our soul food taste buds are truly different out west. We supported this small business based on the reviews of other influencers on social media and was looking for soul food in the area. We wish it continued success.

   Poor service from the owner n service team. Was a very horrible experience, lack of professional care. Service team was rude unprofessional and rude. I felt as if all the staff n the owner been a hard course in how to treat their customers. I will eat there again

   Food was not good. Grits were like mashed potatoes. They had 1 server for the entire restaurant on a Saturday!!! It was NOT a good experience & too pricey. Won’t be back.

   For my father’s bday we decided to try this highly talked about place. We received the worst service of all time, from the look on her face to the way she spoke to us was appalling. She was on her cell phone the whole time having us wait longer than usual. The food was amazing but my blood was boiling so I really could not enjoy it. Our waitress had the nerves to fan herself heavily with the Togo boxes she tried to give us for our food and got mad because I ask her for different ones. If they have surveillance camera they will see everything, also if you are not a peoples person you should not work in service.

    I went here on a recommendation from a friend and the food was very flavorful and decently priced. I wanted to try the fried strawberry waffle, but they don’t do modifications or substitutions, and it comes with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream and I’m dairy free so that was a bummer 😔. I had the smothered chicken and biscuits which was a juicy, crispy fried chicken breast on top of two pillowy scratch made biscuits, covered in mushroom gravy 🤤. The two side were breakfast style potatoes and eggs made your way. The flavor was all there and the ambience lovely with their live jazz musician playing the sax. I would recommend this place for a soulful bite 👏🏾.
