Had dinner with Friends at Prime last night, and everything about the experience was great. Atmosphere was cozy on a cold night, and the food and service met or exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be making many return visits.

Prime has only been open one month as of our visit. They definitely have some kinks to work out. I asked if they had a moscato and was pointed in the direction of a sparkling white wine that was much more on the Riesling side. I was a little disappointed. The Cesar salad was delicious and my husband said the French onion soup was good but it was luke warm. We both ordered our steaks medium and they came much more rare- one of the staff also recognized that and agreed. Loaded hashbrowns and Mac and cheese were also cold although the skillet they were served in was piping hot. For a 300.00 meal, I wouldn’t recommended but we agreed we would try again in the fall once they have some time under their belt.

First time eating at Prime and shared the tomahawk with some scallops. Steak was prepared perfectly medium rare. New steakhouse with lots of potential.

we live in Blaine and tried this restaurant two times. both were extremely disappointing, in the end, we will not be back. We'll continue to drive outside of Blaine for good dining. first time we ordered 4 entrees, two of which were filets. One was prepared to perfection, the second came out and I think the cow was still alive... it was sent back, came out again, still rare.. third time it came out it was cooked to a stunning over well done... The sides were... tasteless, at best. the quarter chicken was watery... they charged $10 for bread that was meh and $14 for mushrooms. desert was, as hard as it seems to believe, even more disappointing then the main course. we ordered the Bread pudding and the Lava Meltdown cake. first, the bread pudding didn't have much flavor and wasn't warm and soft like a good bread pudding should be. the lava meltdown was missing the Lava.. it was basically two brownies. in the end we paid over $400 for a meal that I am not sure we would have been happy paying $150 for. never were we offered any thing to make up for the poorly prepared filets or the joke that was the desert. that said, my wife and I decided to give it a second shot.. which was and will be the last time we visit this restaurant. my filet was "ok". my wife got the black and blue pasta and the sirloin was bad. it tasted spoiled. we ordered the bread pudding again just hoping that the first time was just simply not good and this would be different.. it wasn't. we even told our server about the poor experience we had the first time around. again, his only response was, "oh.. that's too bad... " and gave us our bill. we paid, left and won't be back. it's super disappointing because there isn't any good upper end dining in Blaine. it's just boring. most people that have th money drive to other cites to enjoy the food scene... and it looks like that is how it will remain.

Promising, but missed the mark. Food was good. Drinks were good. Atmosphere so-so. Only way I would go back is if my other favorites like Baldamar are booked.

Don’t get me wrong - our food was good, however, for the price there are much better high-end steakhouses I’d prefer. Both steaks ordered were a bit under cooked and too rare. Also, the server was not very knowledgeable when asked to describe menu items. For the price and reputation they are clearly trying to maintain, wait staff should be able to describe the menu in detail. Would possibly try again in the future.

We found the food and service to be very good. Steaks were a little spendt for the 'burbs.
