   Dinner tonight was ok. Not great. Drinks took 30 minutes maybe 45 to get to our table. They forgot one out of six of our drinks. Bread was great. The ambience was exceptional. We all needed to ask for dressing for our salads as I think they forgot to add any dressing to the greens. Five people got steaks and nobody was impressed. They said their steak was not tender, rather chewy with not much flavor. However, I got the Sea bass and it was very good. Kinda odd at the Prime Rib house the seafood was better than the prime rib. Bathrooms were dirty and not kept up. I’m not one to complain, but we were under impressed and disappointed.

   Nice finding a new place that is all prime rib! Don’t have to go to the city or wait 3 months to get a reservation. Nice ambiance. They offer valet parking cause street parking can be difficult. There is a parking garage near the restaurant. Food was good. Listen to the server’s recommendations. Scalloped potatoes are better than mashed potatoes. Everything was very good.

   It was nice to be back in the old Scott’s space. It’s a lovely spot. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, and shown to our table. Francisco, our waiter, was attentive, and helpful with the menu choices. Prime rib was cooked just as we asked. My husband’s piece was a bit sinewy; mine was a (mostly) lean, juicy cut. The presentation of the prawn cocktail was fabulous. It had 5 large prawns, and the sauce had a nice horseradish kick—we loved it! You can ask for bread, but it’s not on the menu, nor was it offered. Pear bread pudding and molten chocolate cake desserts were delicious. We’ll be back for a special occasion.

   Service very uneven. Waiter literally nonexistent to start. Host had to track him down - sporadic service throughout the night. We had to ask to order dessert.

   Food was great but service was poor. It was my birthday as explained when making the reservations. The check in host acknowledged it but the waiter never did nor did they do anything- like dessert. He never even asked if we wanted dessert. He asked if we had been there before, we replied No. He then preceded to say well we’ve only been here for a year instead of giving us info about the menu etc. He frowned when my husband requested his prime rib well done. He assumed that we wanted to share the prime rib when I specially asked if the sides were family style/ big enough to share plus said why would you want to share when you get your own. He didn’t offer any bread. I requested bread and he had to explain the bread n butter. We were finished eating and had to flag him down to clear the table and bring the check. Again, he didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. Needless to say, we will not be back.

   Fantastic meal at Prime Rib at the Garden with large group of friends in the banquet room. Terrific cocktails, great wine list, and outstanding food. Will be back!!!

    Could be that this spot is too new to have all their bearings, but it took 30mins +/- to receive our drinks of which 2 of the drinks were canned beer. Either inexperienced wait staff or not enough of them, but either way, extremely slow service.
