Reserved for new years prefix menu, we were seated for 45 minutes prior to course 1 of 4. My food was not warm, ordered the fish and it was very dry and way overcooked, inedible even with decent sauce on the plate. My wife's steak and sides were decent. Overall, did not meet expectations for $95 per plate. Took almost 2 hours and felt as if the restaurant was understaffed. Service itself was fine, but likely not planning to return.

We were sat early and that was all that we can be impressed by. Waited 20 minutes for our first drinks. Got those and the first course. Was another 40 minutes for second course and drinks. The salad was wilted as if it had sat for an hour. Our main course, steaks came out. Both ordered medium rare. One cooked to order the other was medium well. The sauce was broken and had congealed. The plates had sat so long the mashed potatoes had a crust on them. The red wine we ordered came after we had finished dinner. The dessert bar was definitely premade and thawed. Half the items could not be removed because they sat so long. Staff were seen socializing and sitting the bar area. A couple was sat next to us as we were finishing and no one spoke to them for 15 minutes. Overall a very poor experience for the price and quality. 2 stars is generous.

Set menu for NYE, an appetizer, soup or salad, 2 entree options, and dessert. Reservation at 7:45. The restaurant was semi crowded. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Then ignored for 20 minutes. There was a waitress filling water glasses. She glanced at our table but never once approached to fill the glasses. Finally asked the hostess where is our server. Maybe 15 minutes later server arrived. No explanation but he did apologize for the wait. We placed our drink and food order. He said he would bring bread and drinks. Another 10 minutes later received drinks no bread. Around 8:50ish received appetizer. Service from there continued to be slow. The kitchen runner did a good job trying to stay on top of bringing dishes. Another table that was there when we arrived spoke with the manager about service. He was not happy as well. Overall our server and the kitchen runner were nice but for the price the overall experience was awful and the food was just okay.

We really enjoyed our time at Prologue for NYE. The service, location, drinks, and ambiance were all perfect. The food was kind of a letdown. 2 of our party had the Halibut and it was dry and chewy. The lobster bisque was very salty. The medium steak was a bit charred which impacted the flavor of the potatoes. I have some grace as I know that NYE is a busy night and this was a prix fixe menu, but we were an early reservation and the room was mostly empty, so I was a bit surprised. I'd definitely be willing to try again on a non-prix fixe menu night.

They were able to easily accommodate our group of 8 with diverse diets: traditional, pescatarian, and vegan. The atmosphere and service were superior.

We went for Christmas. Food and service were great. My only complaint was not receiving hot drawn butter with our lobster. By the time the waitress brought it to our table, the lobster was cold.

I’m not sure if they were short staffed due to the holiday, but the service was slow. Restaurant ambience was nice. The greeter was lovely and attentive. Our waitress was very nice, but it appeared there were several issues with getting to everyone. The hush puppies were delicious. I ordered the Caesar salad & a side of grits. Both were very average. The drinks were excellent, but took a long time to receive. I would go back for drinks.

Just don’t. This was supposed to be a Christmas Eve pre fixe menu, it was just the regular menu. Took 45 minutes to get my cocktail, was told the one bartender was slammed - he was leaning in the rail when we went by. Server (Lulu) was inattentive to all her tables. Had to ask the host to bring an ice bucket for our bottle of wine because the server disappeared (a lot). Food was a train wreck. Scallops were tiny, minimal sides, resembled an appetizer portion and not worth the $36. Risotto tasted like it had been in a warming tray since lunch - dry and crusty. Shrimp in the shrimp and grits were a nice size and well seasoned, but way under cooked. It became a point of bonding and humor between the tables about how terrible it was. And to top it all off, I was hit with an automatic 20% service charge BEFORE TIP. We should have just gone to Waffle House for Christmas Eve dinner.

I made reservations for five people at 11 AM and our table was ready. Our server Abigail was outstanding in every way, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our food was delicious and beautifully presented. Brunch is served in the lounge area as the main restaurant is only open for dining in the evening. We will definitely return to this restaurant!

Our server and runners were amazing. The manager came out to truly connect and ask us our feedback. It was a wonderful special evening for our group!
