Our server was very pleasant but was very slow; it may have been the restaurant’s fault. Their liquor was very expensive and limited selection.

This is a MUST SEE. It's a dive bar turned into a comfortable, unpretentious French bistro. The food is wonderful, right-sized, and a great value. Tablecloths, proper silverware, French standards playing in the background, and printed menus. Why would anyone wait an hour at one of those crowded chains when you can have Sunday brunch here? Quiche which was delicious. I recommend the prix fixe lunch: perfect (not salty) piping-hot french onion soup (it stays hot the whole meal); croque monsieur 1/4 sandwich which I ate just the bottom of because the top was just bread and cheese, but I plopped the top into the remains of my soup and it was perfect; the risotto was some of the best, not salty, not too thick and rich, topped with perfect asparagus tops; standard ceasar salad. The highlight for me was the creme brulee "two ways;" a standard vanilla and the wowza annise. Just tremendous. Recommend.

We had a mix of HRW items and a la carte. It was bad. They were out of several items. The ribeye was a 3/8 inch thick overdone cut of meat and the fries were burger king quality. The tartare was very overseasoned/saucey with a ketchup flavor. Overall poor quality. The bread service was no better than a take and bake fine crumb baguette.

My friend Emma and I enjoyed our dinner here! Entrees (catch of the day and filet mignon) were delicious and perfectly cooked…plus my garlic mashed potatoes were topped with a sprinkle of edible flowers! My burrata appetizer was tasty and enough to share. Emma had the sardines and cleaned her plate. Dessert, an apple tart, was underwhelming, though beautifully presented with small scoops of whipped cream and ice cream on the side. The apples needed more spice and more cooking time. Our server was just okay (bringing dishes we hadn’t ordered, failing to replace used utensils). But at the end of our meal, the chef came to our table and introduced himself, asking how we liked the food. Nice! I’ll give this restaurant another try.

PS21 is an amazing gem. The food is fresh, with delightful flavor combinations. The plate presentations are artful and possible wine parings thoughtful. Highly recommend.

Went for HRW lunch and was quite astounded at what we didn’t get for our money. $25 for lunch is not really expensive, but the portion size was really inexcusable. We got the steak and frites. French fries were the only good part and at least it came with a decent amount. Not sure why the waiter asked how I wanted my steak cooked. The thinnest piece of meat I’d ever seen was laid out on my plate with 40% gristle and fat. You could’ve laid this piece of meat on a grill for 1 minute and still overcooked it, which it was. The pictures online look like a big ribeye. This was deli sliced ribye. If it had been the best ribeye I’d ever had, then I would’ve been fine with it but it was tasteless and tough. That being said, excellent ambiance and service was good. Maybe if someone can tell me a specific thing they had was amazing I’d go back, but as of not it isn’t on the list.

Horrible experience One server for the entire restaurant therefore service was slow. I even have to ask for napkin bcoz it wasn’t set at my table. Food was the worse I have eaten. The steak look pathetic. They should be ashamed of serving that steak. Presentation looked awful. We didn’t like any of the food we ate. From soup to appertizer and entrees. Would never come back and defend can’t recommended to anyone

We went for restaurant week lunch. The steak frites was excellent and the sauce Incredible. The fries were also great. We had a soufflé for dessert and would order it again. Will definitely return.
