Douglas took great care of everything for our family group of four. His excellent service was matched by the excellent food which included Shrimp and Grits, Chicken Salad, Smoked Meatloaf and a barbecue sandwich. Eating at Puckett’s was a perfect way to top off a Christmas concert at the Ryman.

Made a reservation for Saturday morning at 10:30 based on the fact we figured it would be busy. It wasn’t busy at all but for some reason it took almost 10 minutes for our server to greet us after we were seated. The food was “ok” at best. Our server never came back to refill our drinks (coffee and water) or to see if everything came out ok since he wasn’t the person that served it. He had to be flagged down to get something additional. He was very pleasant and nice just not sure what was happening since he only appeared to have one other table. Hoping they were just having an off day but our food nor service lived up to the hype we heard.

We went to Puckett’s for the live music with a 7:00 pm reservation. Unfortunately, the only song we heard was a sound check to I’ve Got a Girl Crush melody with revised lyrics about a sound check. Food was good. Service was excellent.
