   Not authentic at all—I won’t be returning. While the service was actually quite good, the wine pricing was unreasonable. Starting the evening with a $60 bottle that retails for $9.99 set the wrong tone. Unfortunately, the food didn’t redeem the experience—mediocre at best and lacking any real connection to Spanish cuisine. Overall, very disappointing.

   Wonderful little spot on Broadway in Burlingame. Great small plates, sangria and wine. The entree portions are generous, salads are perfect. Staff are so friendly and service is excellent. Great casual, neighborhood eatery.

   Our waiter, Sinan, was absolutely amazing- very attentive, knew the menu, and professional. My husband ordered a burger and loved it. I had a hot cabbage salad which was delicious. The cheese & charcuterie was good and served with ham and carmelized onions which were yummy. The “aged Gouda” was actually smoked Gouda. I suggest they dim the lights further than they were dimmed on 16 Feb, 2025.

   good food and service ... tapas plate and crab cakes were a great combination followed by sticky toffee pudding.

   Hostess a little overwhelmed. We had a 6pm reservation we didn’t want outdoor. We showed like -0 minutes before 6. Very nice small boutique restaurant but had a party of over 20 people with kids that stayed way to long should have given them a limit of time and weren’t taking care of couples that were spending money we bought a bottle of $100 bottle and just sat at bar. Not my first choice. Also happened to another couple they had a 7:30 and were at bar at 8 pm waiting. Manuela saved the night and our experience.

   We had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated and the restaurant was completely overwhelmed. Food was decent.

   We had the misfortune of sitting next to a table of eight very loud women which made the experience memorable but regrettable. The food was excellent and we will return. It was our first visit.

   Dry nice ambience … rigatoni with sausage was excellent … Definitely recommend ordering wine flights to accompany the meal(s). Server recommended the “Spanish flight” which was excellent

   This was our third time dining at Pulpa. The first time was excellent. The second time there was was new staff and a few mistakes (they were lovely but the mistakes led to cold food). Honest mistakes but the manager responded well and we returned to another great experience. Our food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

    The food was really just meh… all the ingredients were fresh and of good quality but honestly the taste just wasn’t there. Everything was just so bland. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things. I really wanted to love it but unfortunately no. Location was lovely and service was fine.
