At Pyro, our obsession goes beyond the flame. With each spark from our wood burning hearth, we ignite the energy that flows through the doors and into your senses. Our diverse menu walks a fine line between Japanese Izakaya and American Bistro, and our chefs prepare dishes using open flame, live-fire cooking that allows the enhanced natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through. A refined yet inviting atmosphere is paralleled with a lush exterior patio, just as an elevated dining experience is matched with an intentionally energetic cocktail bar where the vibe flows through each pour and each beat of music. Flame-licked steaks and intoxicating energy will leave you yearning for a taste of more at Pyro.

The server took for ever to bring the roasted chicken and steak, unfortunately arrived cold, the dessert was good tho. The host allowed us to go in even tho we were late for the reservation and treated us kindly

Great ambiance, and fantastic service. The food is average at best. There are only a few tasty items on the menu, but there is nothing that will blow you away. The drinks are pretty decent.

We’ve been to Pyro a handful of times. We absolutely love the food and this was no exception. It’s a rather expensive restaurant, but we felt it was a good value for quality of food, ambience, etc. They were busy but not extremely busy. Our server was also a bartender and he was great, very attentive. The trouble was the timing of the food. We waited ~30 minutes between appetizers and entrées. The entrées were delivered at 2 different times and the person delivering them couldn’t have cared less. Our server noticed the issue (without our complaining) apologized and told us that the manager would be over. The manager never made it and we shared that with a different server who came to cash our check out. He was apologetic and insisted on finding the manager. We told him not to bother but he insisted. I think the icing on the cake for me was that I could see this server speaking to 2 different managers who couldn’t be bothered to come to our table. So the server returned with a 30% discount (which we did not ask for). Frankly, a visit from the manager would’ve been more appreciated. And why not have a (couple) cherries on top? Apparently, the restaurant was out of Mezcal at 7 PM on a Saturday night. And it was literally impossible to get a drink at the bar (where we were sitting!) before our table was ready. Not even a hello. It’s sad to see a restaurant that has decided they are too successful to need to take care of their customers.

We so wanted this place to knock our socks off and it honestly fell short. Upon arrival, vibe was 100. The decor, fabulous. Drinks at the bar while we waited to be seated, sublime. We were seated in the back of the restaurant. It was dark I almost fell asleep. Our tables were super close together. Food fell short. The meatballs were inedible and cold. The popular menu items that we ordered were lack luster. The short rib fried rice, nice on paper but boring and non dimensional - tasted only of chili with only one texture. The ubi panda cotta dessert was a shining star and absolutely mouth watering. This spot is sexy but the food was so disappointing- I’ll give it one more shot if I’m in the area again.

The food was amazing. The old fashioned was one the best I have had. Austin was our server and he walked us through the menu highlighting all the must haves. We ordered them all! Thanks Austin for a wonderful experience! The salmon was the shining star, just as Austin recommended.
