At Pythouse Kitchen Garden, you'll find an idyllic atmosphere in which to enjoy fantastic food. We offer covered outdoor seating in our glorious garden and indoor seating in the conservatory and potting shed. Pythouse Kitchen Garden is a lunchtime destination only at present.

Head chef Darren Broom's passion lies in producing food with an unmistakable sense of terroir. For Darren, provenance is not just the backstory to his ingredients, it’s everywhere in the look, feel and taste of his food.

We are keen to champion our own produce first and foremost, providing guests with a unique and ever-changing insight into the seasons. We work closely with the garden team to manage and maintain the garden and to deliver a programme of regeneration and sustainability.

Pythouse Kitchen Garden never disappoints. The setting was atmospheric today - moody and misty but the welcome was warm, the food sensational and the ambience friendly and warm.

Exceptional food as always. I love the focus on the seasonal vegetables grown in the walled garden. The broccoli flowers were particularly delicious. Ricotta doughnuts as light as a feather. Date and stout pudding excellent too. And all in a wonderfully relaxed setting.

This is the second time I've been for brunch at Pythouse. SO pleased I have finally found a place where I can go with friends and family for a brunch that doesn't disappoint. The decor, the setting, the service, and the food are all incredibly brilliant. i intend to work myself through the menu as the flavours, pairings and presentation are wowzers. Come hungry, as the portions are capable for setting you up for the day. I never leave without a few bottles of condiments from the shop too, as we quickly get though them, especially the Smoked Squash Ketchup! Bravo guys!
