Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Quality Bistro offers a "fantastic dining experience" in a "beautiful setting" with "amazing food" and "superb service." The "butter service" is a must-try, and the dessert menu is highly recommended. While some reviews mention high noise levels and occasional service lapses, the overall "upscale atmosphere" and "delicious menu" make it a "top-notch" choice in NYC.

Love the Quality restaurants…big fan. But Bistro is by far the best. I was initally drawn in after reading about the tableside butter service. Very unique, but word to the wise…order only if you have at least 4 in your party. It is a lot of food. We opted for the caviar sliders with a champagne bump..much better choice. Atmosphere, decor, food and the staff are all exceptional. Shout out to our server Peter (Paul, as my husband insisted). So personable, warm and professional. We’ll be back again…and again!

The butter service is amazing, you must try, although it is entirely too much butter for any one table to possibly eat it is a splurge in the best way! For dinner I ordered the filet for $67. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium well, if not well done on the ends. The kitchen even sliced it for us as I was sharing with my son, so they should have seen how overcooked it was before sending it out! I immediately noticed and showed our server. He offered to have the kitchen cook another steak, but I said it was fine as it was late, my son was starving, and every time a server says it will only take a kitchen a few minutes to do something it always takes twice as long. The manager came over and took one look at it and said that it was definitely medium well and also offered to have another one made, but I politely declined. She then offered to comp the steak which was appreciated as we only ate half as it was so dry. The manager handled it very professionally however the kitchen manager should have more oversight on the cooks. A dry, gray overcooked steak will definitely ruin a meal!

Went before a Broadway show and they were timely, but not rushing. Great food and service.

The baked eggs were overcooked by a lot, and continued to cook in the hot pan. The chocolate mousse wasn’t as good as it has been before. It was very difficult to get service. The burger was fine.

Stopped by there for a reservation we had made for after a concert we attended at NYC Center. Food is OK, but not really anything outstanding to write home about. The restaurant was quite full at around 9:30, so the noise level was lively. The entire experience was OK for the purpose we had intended it, but for the prices charged I wouldn't make a special trip there just to eat and hang out. Meh.

Perfect server. Great for a birthday. Overall, a wonderful night. We split the chateaubriand and I hope I can come back to have it again.

Excellent food and service. The au poivre sauce prepared table side was a nice touch.
