Quarter Acre, a welcoming neighbourhood restaurant combined with an upscale dining experience, is inspired by Chef Toby Archibald’s world travels and New Zealand roots. When you enter Quarter Acre, you will be transported to a place of warmth and character. A journey from the earthy green musk of the New Zealand rainforest to the cool blue of the Pacific Ocean.

The Culinary Experience:
Enjoy food prepared using both classic and modern techniques with a strong influence placed on local and national, seasonal produce. At the same time, global ingredients will also have their place at the table, in particular items from Toby’s home country of New Zealand, such as fresh seafood and unique meats and flavours.

When dining with us, Quarter Acre accepts cash, debit, and credit card. A 3.4% convenience fee will be added to all payments made by credit card.

    Such a fantastic experience! We went for dinner with good friends and from the moment we walked in, the environment was so warm and inviting. Our waitress was fabulous and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. Very unique twist on classic dishes. Loved the going west cocktail and wild mushroom and ceviche. Can’t wait until our next visit!

    Small, quaint space. You can actually hear each other talk. But…. The servers hovered and I felt rushed the entire night. I barely put down my fork after the last bite and my plate was swept away. The food was quite salty. They were fast to take the plates but slow to bring the wine. Our food got cold while we waited for the wine which was supposedly waiting to be timed with main. Just bring the wine! For a $200 a person dinner -very disappointing. Won’t be going back.

    A real gem. The presentation, the flavors, the service, the ambience were all off the charts! The attention to detail is incredible. Our group of 6 had a delightful visit and enjoyed every course. We started with unique and delicious cocktails that included one with a beautifully crafted square ice cube with an edge surrounding it. (hard to explain, but quite beautiful.) A round of snacks with a beet tartlet and fish on a chip that were delicate, and delicious. For the appetizers, I had the crab eclair, and the Aussie Sea Bass for a main. I highly recommend trying it all! Our group ordered the Aussie Sea Bass, the beef, the duck, and the farro. I was able to enjoy a mouthful of each. My husband and I had to fight over the last bite of the Flat White Tart. Jacob did an amazing job recommending the perfect wine to pair with our meal. We enjoyed watching Chef Toby and his crew create their magic through the kitchen window. What a memorable evening. We can't wait to come back!

    Attentive service, well-made cocktails, knowledgeable waitstaff, delicious tartar. Creative entrees were tasty and presented beautifully on plate. Well chosen wine by waiter to complement our entrees. We dined outdoors so the noise level was high but it didn’t interfere with our dinner. Overall a great experience and a wonderful addition to Lower Greenville. Please stick around!!

    What a delightful new experience this was for an anniversary celebration. Cocktails were delightful. The food was delicious and interesting. All of servers were helpful, gracious and smoothly worked as one. This is definitely a repeat.

    Incredible meal. Don’t know why this inventive, intentional, creative resto didn’t receive a Michelin star yet. Chef and server was gracious and eager to share their stories and passion for food with us. We enjoyed a lingering evening with good friends.
