What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon listening to live music and having lunch at the Yacht Club with friends. The band was "Asleep at the Reel". They are a really good band, all great musicians. Two hours of music and even got us up to dance. The live music is free, what a bonus. Lunch was delicious, especially love there steak sandwich and my husband goes for the fresh prawns. From when you first enter the Club, the staff are very welcoming. All are helpful and nothing is to much trouble. We try to get there at least once a month. I would recommend to anyone to go and have lunch or dinner there. Will not be disappointed.

Breakfast on Sunday. The selection from the menu was basic but served hot and very nice. The club was a bright, clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and service was great. The club itself has a lovely view of boats and water. Yes I would recommend a visit.

Can't be helped but when a group of young men sit nearby inside and are having a great time they are very boisterous and noisy, consequently the only way to finish enjoying our stay was actually to leave. They certainly weren't offensive tho, just having a good time. This was the comment I thought to send.

Great food and good service but too many mossies for outside
Queensland Cruising Yacht ClubResponded on 29 January 2025
Many thanks Chris for your feedbank. Unfortunately at times yes the mozzies are around, a tip for next time just ask our staff if they have any repellent, we always have some on hand.

Lovely location and views....meals were tasty and average priced. Chicken schnitzel was average.
