   The service was really poor. Even though there wasn’t busy and many staff walked around, no one attended our table after the afternoon tea was served. No one asked if everything is fine, whether we need anything else or offered refills. We couldn’t even get a bill until we stood up to leave and started walking to the door. Were ignored completely, really poor!

   Large group of 20+ were seated at multiple tables in the restaurant which made it unbearably loud and unpleasant (group members kept leaning over our seat to talk to one another). It also caused food service to be slow and the Wellington was soggy, which was likely due to the overworked kitchen. Service staff did what they could to accommodate the patrons not part of the group but they could only go so far.

   Incredible experience at this venue. The staff were so friendly and inviting, the food was phenomenal (aside from a few appetisers) and the wine delicious. Definitely recommend it.

   Service was better last time we there than this visit. Ambience was ok until the music got turned down as the tunes were good. Good portion size.

   We were a party of 8 women for a 1pm lunch. There was no pressure for us to leave, so we sat chatting and drinking until 4.30pm. Our waiter, Massimo, was outstanding. Very patient, kind and attentive to everyone’s needs. The food is OK - though not especially of a high standard. Most of the party had a good-value set menu which seemed to go down pretty well. The a la carte menu has a wide choice of meat, fish and veggie and basically it’s English meets Italian/French fare. Nice wines by the glass but no bottles are particularly cheap - but that’s not unusual for central London. Overall a very reasonable venue for a long, relaxed lunch and right next to St Pancras station if some friends are travelling from far afield.
