   My wife and I always enjoy coming to Rain forest cafe, from the first time we visited the cafe at the MGM in las vegas a few years back, the fast and professional service for Landry'S MEMBERS,great food and ambience make it a good place for a saturday night date with my honey.

   We come every year to celebrate a birthday and I swear it gets better every time. The servers and staff are great. Portions are a good size especially since they seem to get more expensive every year. Its a great place for kids and any celebration.

   It took 40 minutes to get our food and drinks. We were going to order an entrée and main dish, but the entrée took so long to receive there was no point to order a main dish. I didn’t understand why it took so long to get a drink. I saw people that came before us receiving drinks. I got there at 6 and left at 8. I had plans to leave sooner. It was also strange to see on a Monday.

   Good place for family and kids. There were five of us including two little ones. The kids enjoyed the gorillas, monkeys plus the elephant. The food we ordered hamburger, taste of the island, and the shrimp sampler platter was very good. Service was very attentive and friendly.

    For starters let me start by saying that after reading the reviews I really didn’t have high expectations but the saying don’t judge a book by its cover truly applies here. I do highly recommend you make a reservation. We arrived about 30 minutes early, our reservation was for 7:30 and waitlist was already closed as they had a 2 hour wait. Once we got seated our waiter Lindsay came by to take our drink order, she was really great, she kept our preteens kids engaged in the whole experience and her dinner recommendations were amazing. Aside from being really busy our order came out quick and cooked to perfection. My husband got the prime rib and I got the jerk chicken and shrimp pasta, and the kids got the grilled chicken and the chicken Alfredo, they were tasty and fresh of the grill. When it was time for dessert, Lindsay suggested the flaming volcano as it fit the occasion, my daughter’s birthday, half the wait staff came to our table to sing her happy birthday and it was really a great experience. Highly recommend you try it.
