VERY good tonkotsu ramen. sushi was ok... sushi rice a little hard & overly vinegary. skewers were decent. def. go for the byob & ramen!

The sushi at Wasabi was fresh, creative and delicious. The fried oyster appetizer was outstanding. Their specialty maki were all great, especially the ArtMex roll, which was everybody's favorite. Nigiri pieces were average, and the hamachi kama appetizer was pricey and disappointing. BYOB definitely adds a star. The service was not as good as the food. The hostess was sweet and accommodating, but our server was hard to find, rushed us to order, and generally seemed annoyed the whole night.

This place is a hidden gem. Sushi was excellent. non-sushi excellent. service excellent. and prices very reasonable. BYOB makes it all the more fun!

What a great find in Logan Square! It's a super cute BYOB sushi place with really good food - I can still taste the freshness of the sushi. And the prices were reasonable too. I live around the corner from Coast (my favorite sushi place) but would definitely make the trip over to Wasabi again, it was that good!

Sushi was amazing. My favorite one was their ArtMex role. Very delicious. Our server was a complete sweetheart. It is a BYO and we had several bottles of wine, which she was always on hand to open and chill for us. It was also a friend's birthday and I as a surprise I had brought dessert to the restaurant for her, which they brought out at a perfect time, with candles.

We went last Sunday for our son's birthday dinner. We've been there on my brithday dinner last year and my son (8 years old) remembers how good the food was and he picked this restaurant. Loved all the dishes especially "pork belly kimchee spring roll, zuke salmon and chocolate cake!!! I don't really care for cake but that was so good! Always great food & atmosphere! Also location is perfect, not far from the train station and lots of street parking right in front of the Restauarant. At last, I am Japanese so I know what's good and not, this is the place to be!!!!!

This place is BYOB, so don't forget. The food was excellent but came out piecemeal. We ordered three starters, and the third one came with our salads, about 20 minutes after we finished the first two. Then, entrees for two of us came to the table at least 30 minutes before the other two, and there was no acknowledgement or apology on the part of the server. The odd timing definitely overshadowed the quality of the food. However, I highly recommend ordering the yellowtail cheek. Yum.
