   Rachel B was our server and she is wonderful, attentive and friendly. The food was beyond wonderful ( my husband and I both agreed that it was SO much better than Ruth Chris and they are know for steaks) the atmosphere was perfect many regulars … we plan to make this our date night destination.

   Hombre wine a great berry choice. The presentation of halibut with shrimp was brilliant and cooked to perfection over risotto. Warm butter cake with vanilla ice cream dotted with strawberries and blackberries added the finishing touch——— to be shared of course!

   We recently joined the Wine Club after having a superior dinner and experience recently. The food is excellent and the service impeccable. Our server Meryl was delightful. So was Penelope last week. ALL of the help is considerate and friendly. The spirit in the place was incredible and we had an excellent time. The Wine Club experience is great and a motivator to get you back--however even without the Club we'd continue to go back given the delicious menu, service and all that adds to having a friendly and good meal out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

   The night started well. We ordered the deconstructed burrata and crostinis which was good but not enough crostini, 3 dollars extra for 6. My husband ordered the ahi which was okay and I ordered the filet mignon, medium. When it came out it was well done. They took it back to the kitchen and brought out a second that was still pretty well done. We ordered extra crostinis while I waited for my meal and still my meal was not what I hoped when I ordered and certainly not for the price. There was no discount or items comped and overall was very disappointed.

    I had a fantastic dining experience at Rancho Capistrano Winery. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch—friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. The food was delicious, with each dish perfectly prepared and full of flavor. It’s a great spot for a relaxed yet special dining experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
