   Popped in at lunch, had a platter to share with a beer and a milkshake, was by far the best BBQ we've ever had. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was amazing too. We also rolled a 6 on the lunchtime dice, and ended up getting the meal for free!

   Booked a table here for my sisters hen party. Unbelievable food. All 10 of us were so impressed with everything we ordered and the bride even got a free cocktail. Will definitely be returning when in liverpool again.

   Really nice food and good portions. Could do with being a little cheaper. Other than that it was spot on. Also service charge should be removed as tipping should be optional.

   First impressions: 3 staff members stood chatting near the entrance, not acknowledging us as we entered. Eventually, a young lady asked if I was OK. We were seated immediately and were asked to pick our table. Service: Our server was fantastic and attentive, can't fault her in the slightest. Food and drinks arrived quickly. Drinks: Corona was good and soft drinks were in a generously-sized glass. Food: Ribs were fatty and tough for everyone who had them. Mash was cold. Chicken was tender, fries were good, nachos were decent, burger was tasty but lukewarm. Onion rings were slimy inside. Fudge cakes were cold and dry. Ambience: started off ok but as the evening went on, it became overcrowded, and being sat near the bar was detrimental to our enjoyment. Staff were struggling to pass the crowds, so I had to keep ducking to avoid getting hit with trays of food and drinks. Value: £50 per head for mains, dessert and drinks is reasonable, but the food wasn't great so didn't feel worth it. If I was to compare this venue to another, I'd say it's like Hickory's, but Hickory's does everything better. When I made the booking, I selected the option that said it was for a birthday. This wasn't acknowledged until we were leaving when our wonderful server asked why we were out. When we mentioned birthday, she apologised for it not being acknowledged. Hickory's leaves a message on the table when you tell them it's an occasion. Also, the toilets are in the depths of hell. What a journey. I'd be very surprised if we came back here, which is a shame.

   The food was very good. The burgers were fantastic, as were the ribs. The mac and cheese was ok. Three of the members of our party had the platter, and to be honest, it was underwhelming. They said the food was pretty good, but when it arrived, it did appear to be a platter for 2, yet we obviously paid for 3. The service was fantastic, as were the drinks. Birthday boy even got a special surprise at the end of the meal. Best margarita I’ve had in Liverpool to date! Would we return, yes. Would we order the platter again, I’m afraid not.

   Waiting staff were hassled but doing their very best. Overall management seemed shambolic and not a great welcome. Only a 7.30 booking but some basic menu items had run out. Also some items in the desert menu were no longer offered - who takes sticky toffee pudding of a menu?! Burger was small, served on a saucer and rare. Texas trinity was very basic. Overall it was a rip off - burger at £18 should have been amazing and served with sides. Texas trinity - 1 rib, 4 thin, small slices of brisket a a small sausage for £24 - come on! Would not recommend.
