The same 8 80s songs played the entire 2.5 hour dinner. By the end it wasn’t very pleasant to hear the same song 4 times. The vibe is cool, was very loud, the decor is beautiful and the food was good but somehow ran out of ribeye at 8pm on a Saturday.

Fast food casual masquerading as fine dining. The quality of the food was subpar, bland and unseasoned filet mignon and short rib. The music, atmosphere and overall vibe felt like the Cheesecake Factory not a nice steakhouse. An overall disappointing experience. There are much better options in Westchester.

It was my older brother’s 81st birthday. He wanted to go someplace that he hadn’t been before for brunch. He was quite happy with his chicken and waffles and ice cream (decorated with Happy Birthday) for dessert. The rest of us were happy with our choices also

I was so looking forward to going here. We are food enthusiasts and have tried many different restaurants. Once we got there seating was immediately available. We had to purchase bread for the table!! Never heard of this before!!! The server came after 5 min of waiting once seated. Our orders were placed, the server NEVER came back to the table to find out if we were ok. After each course/meal, the food took forever to come out. It got so bad, the hostess came at one point to ask us if we are finished eating, we told her we are still waiting deserts to be served. The soup was warmed in a microwave. Overall food was ok. The service was HORRIBLE!! The restaurant is overpriced. We will not be returning.

Restaurant week menu with minuscule portion of short rib- with the bone (note not ribs) in a pool of polenta. Not much meat and not much flavor. Overly astringent and spiced frisee salad with razor thin tasteless apples. Overdone popover with no hint of the gruyere. Frito misto had none of the rock shrimp promised on the menu. Risotto dish was the only good item- with the aforementioned rock shrimp found in a reasonable quantity, nice blend of flavors from the vegetables and seasoning Creme brulee watery and tasteless. Took home the rest of my tasty key lime pie which was dumped upside down in the container. I realize restaurant week menu's are under priced but if the quality of the food is an example of the full price menu, would not bother returning or recommend. Service was pleasant, attentive and courteous. Restaurant is in the Ritz Carleton so maybe that old saw about hotel restaurants is true.

Some restaurants do Hudson Valley restaurant week well and Red Horse is definitely one of them. We had the lobster dumplings which were extraordinary and the mixed fried appetizer, which was also delicious. We both ordered the filet mignon steak frites. The steak was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked to order. I'm a light eater and the steak was perfectly portioned for me, but a heartier eater would have considered the portion very small. (I estimate it was a 4 oz piece of steak.) My one suggestion would be to add the weight to the menu, so people are not surprised by the very petit filet.

Was disappointed with both main dishes, especially the risotto, which was very dry.

My sister and I went to try the restaurant week as it was on. The options on the menu were u were slim. Our Server Katie was warm and hospitable. The lobster dumplings were tiny and a little tough . I ordered the Rigatoni which was over cooked and breaking up. The sauce was good but it was soggy. I finished dessert with the Jasmine berries which was nice and tasty. My sister got the steak fritters which was small and tasted over cooked. She ordered the calamari and shrimp which was a good portion and crunchy. The tiny dancer was her desert which was good and tasty. We did like the ambiance. I felt the meal was not a David Burkes meal. It wasn’t special to me. I went previously and ordered off the regular menu and had a better experience with the food.
