   Booked a table for my wife for Mother's day, lovely looking pub in a nice part of Surrey, plenty of parking. On arrival staff were really friendly and welcoming, even though restaurant was busy, staff couldn't do enough for you and service was quick and efficient. All three courses came at a perfect time allowing us to digest between courses and chat. The food was excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed our day, would definitely recommend.

   The service was outstanding , cheerful and genuine and helpful. This is a charming pub / restaurant offering great food and a warm ambiance.

   Great service and food. Quite noisy though but probably due to several large groups and where we were sat.

   Always a good visit, I’m sorry but I don’t know the guys name from front of house but he is amazing, tentative without being overbearing. You can tell how much he loves the red lion.

   Excellent food as usual! Sad to see a change in some of the staff and management. Grith was a definite asset to the team. I hope the new management maintain the integrity of this lovely village pub.

   Excellent establishment. Not to be missed! Baked Camembert, halloumi fries, fish and chips were delicious. Must try the rest of the menu next time!
