   Omg. Had confirmed reservations on Valentine’s Day, walked into foyer where at least 10 other couples were waiting. Half the tables were empty. The hostess ignored us. Another staff member finally very nicely came and announced to everyone waiting that no one else would be seated for the night. When I inquired further about if this affected those with reservations, was told yes, and that the kitchen was already 2 hrs behind in serving the people who were already seated at tables. I counted at least 10 wait staff, but no idea if there was more than 1 cook in the kitchen. We left while everyone else waiting kept standing there. Worst almost dining experience I’ve had in my whole life. Will never go back to the Matteson restaurant. No wonder this franchise is hurting.

   Our server, Isabella, was delightful, helpful, and attentive - especially with the two super seniors in our party of 5! Biscuits are always hot and buttery. We tried the new Lobster and Shrimp Papperdelle. Great portions. Sauce needs a bit more seasoning though. I prefer that over too much seasoning.

   It was a great evening for us, as we celebrated our anniversary! Isabella was a great server. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Very accommodating. Monday evening seems to be a great time to go. It's not crowded and the noise level is low.

   I want to start off with the positive…our server was amazing. He was a young man and tended to our needs and requests. We tipped him very well for his hard work. Now for the not so positive…When we arrived, we waiting at the bar to have a drink. The bar was covered with plates, glasses, and dirty napkins - needed to be bused. There was only one bartender and she was doing her best to make drinks for the bar and seated guest. My friend moved the used dishes and ordered drinks. Per the server, the menu isn’t current. They no longer serve the Shrimp Rangoon. They also only provide one side vs two sides, which is offered on the menu. I was extremely disappointed that the salads are no longer included with the meal…you have to pay an additional $2.50. The booth bench seats were torn and raggedy. Red Lobster use to be a go to a quick meal. Very disappointing.

   Daveda is an absolute rockstar. She could rub the entire Red Lobster chain. She’s truly next level and extremely kind.

   I had a very decent dining experience with the all you can eat shrimp. A great value for the money. Maggie is an excellent server!

   The establishment needs refurbishment, tables were not properly cleaned, noisy, and the food took a very long time to prepare although it was not crowded. First batch of rolls were cold. Server, Dustin, was very good.
