   We have been going here for Christmas Day the past three years and this was the worst! Our server rushed us from the beginning and didn’t stop! My mom’s steak was fatty and different colors throughout! My son and I had the Mahi and not that great. Very dry. Not happy. The server did not make things good at all. Upselling the whole time! And when we were just eating our food, she was asking us if we wanted dessert! Not good.

   My wife and I hadn’t eaten there in many years. It was a hot day so we thought we would go there and relax and have some seafood. We know the General Manager and he is the very best . Our servers helper was beyond excellent. Unfortunately, are server was pretty terrible . She didn’t understand English very well and had problems getting our order correct. We had to ask another server for water , our Margaritas were beyond terrible and the food was sub-par at best. The menu was never explained to us were we could understand it either. We won’t be going back for a long time if ever. The most enjoyable part of the experience was seeing the General Manager whom we both think highly of!! It’s really to bad our server didn’t have it together. It wasn’t even that busy either.

   As always, the location had plenty of parking and wasn't too crowded. We made Priority reservations, in advance, through OpenTable. We were seated within 2-3 minutes upon arrival for dinner. Our meal consisted of the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, 1lb snow crab, salmon dinner, and I had the Lobster Punch for my cocktail. Everything came out hot and appealing to eat. Our server was a little more attentive with others than to my Mother and I, but other staff stepped in when necessary.

   It was good….We went early 5:45 on. Monday. It wasn’t busy at first. Once it started getting busy our server was noticeably stretched. Not enough servers (really anywhere these days). The only thing that was disturbing was that the hostess had no idea about our open table reservation (priority seating request). She basically said they don’t do that - after I already confirmed online. They weren’t busy so we walked right in. If they were busy I would have been upset. Honestly I think they girl was extremely new and had no idea how to check. Still… they should fix that.

    No I would not recommend Red Lobster at San Bruno to a friend because the service is extremely slow and the food is too salty. And some of the employees are not friendly nor are they welcoming.
