Since it opening in 2006, Red Pony Restaurant has impressed guests by staying true to a mission focused on cuisine and service.
Chef owned and operated, Red Pony changes its menu about six times a year with the intention of keeping ingredients the season’s freshest and the variety of dishes dynamic.
While a great deal of the menu pays homage to the Sophisticated Southern foods Chef Jason McConnell grew up on, you will also see a reflection of his travels, that drive his creativity.
It is our belief that food is something to be celebrated. We also believe that experience is a huge part of dining. Whether it be enjoying a crafted cocktail at one of our bars or enjoying dinner at the table, we want each guest to be seamlessly guided through their time at Red Pony Restaurant.

    We've been wanting to try RP for a while. It did not disappoint. Great service, great food - the shrimp and grits were so different, with many flavors mixing, and superb texture. The Guac was excellent. My wife had beef and my cousin had salmon, both delicious. The ambiance was noisy, but in a good way. Lot's of folks just enjoying a night out. Impressive bar also.

    Cocktails and dinner was amazing. All of our daughters and their husbands were in town and all found Red Pony to be great...and they are a hard crowd to please.

    Food has been excellent in the past. Ours was a strip, good cut and cooked to med rare as expected. Lacked Flavor and was med temp. Lobster was tough and overcooked.

    We have been several times to Red Pony and it is always fantastic. It’s a great place for a special night out. The food, the drinks, the ambiance, always a great evening! The best night out option in Franklin!
