   One of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in a long time. My only complaint was the noise level that made it difficult to carry on a conversation at a table for five.

   Red was beyond our expectations. We expected good steaks. We got perfect ones. Every side dish was well seasoned. At our very picky party of six, there were zero complaints about anything. Our server was engaging and funny and even rapped a little birthday song for one of our party. Definitely recommend for great food and terrific ambiance.

   The food is good, but for the price, this is not a steakhouse experience. We were seated in the bar, which I realized too late was noisy and uncomfortable. The steaks were well seasoned, and the sides were tasty, too. The pear dessert was not good; it tasted stale. Overall, this wasn’t a relaxing night out for us.

   Finally got to Red's! It was on my list for quite some time. I have been to the Marble Room a few times so I was anxious to compare. We came to Red's to celebrate an anniversary. Reservations were easy to make - alot easier to get in compared to MR. Parking was complicated being a first timer. We had to pull up in front of the restaurant, hubby jumped out ran in and asked where valet was because parking in the street was full. (Inconvenient) - we were told to drive passed the restaurant onto E. 4th Street - Red's also told him that we would be reimbursed for the valet. None the less, we drove down a few moments and saw a valet sign on our left . We pulled up and paid $35 then took the walk back down the street. Fortunately it was a beautiful day but had to hike it in my heels - he should have dropped me off had we know where valet actually was. The restaurant did put a sticker on our valet ticket and we were given $25 back via our original form of payment when we picked up our car. We walked in and it was quite loud but were asked if we wanted to dine upstairs - we said sure....LOTS of stairs - again in some pretty serious heels. (They do have an elevator if you ask). Basic room upstairs but nice and quiet. (Until the martini's were kicking in to our nearby tables then it became quite loud). Our waitress, Ashley, was nice & welcoming. I ordered a pomegranate martini. I took one drink. It was like a shot of pure vodka. I said this is way too strong. She said, do you want simple syrup added? (WHAT???) I said I cannot drink this. So she took it away. Never said, let me ask them to make it less strong...bad customer service. Both had the regular 8 oz CAB Filets cooked medium - very flavorful (too peppery for me) but delicious. Hubby got the too die for whipped sweet potatoes with a butterscotch bourbon and pecans...he loved it. I got the mac n cheese - good but nothing spectacular. I prefer MR 100% food, ambience, parking, Esp. the service.

    Had an enjoyable dining experience on an early Friday evening. Service was very good, knowledgeable and fun. Food was excellent, steak cooked and seasoned properly. sides hot and tasty. Caesar salad was the only thing that was a little lacking, good portion size, fresh crunchy lettuce and flavorful croutons, but the dressing is a lite on the good garlic flavor expected in a good dressing.
