Family went to celebrate New Year’s - it’s a tradition. Service wasn’t particularly fast but what was so disappointing was the halibut I ordered was not only meager but the bottom was scorched. It had a black layer of burnt fish about 1/8” thick. It left a burnt taste to the fish. When I pointed it out to the server he responded, “ I’ll take it off the bill. Would you like something else?” No apology, no visit by the restaurant manager, nothing. I declined the offer since it took so long for our food and I didn’t want the party to wait on me. Everyone else enjoyed their food. It was a big disappointment.

There were 4 of us. Didn't disappoint even though usually NYE is a difficult night for restaurants. Outstanding food: mushroom ravioli, filet, pork chops and chicken Marsala. Service impeccable with Brian. We love Rena's!!

The wedge salad and mushroom ravioli were great. The ragu bolognese was neither ragu nor a Bolognese, which are simmered for 3-8 hours. This was a quick tomato sauce with some ground meat mixed in. I didn't finish it.
