Loved the Calamari. Tender and crispy and loved having the tentacles served. My only suggestion would be to add the pepper rings . We also ordered mussels and they were excellent, tiny, delicate and tasty. The veal Marsala , pasta with clam sauce, beet and goat cheese salad with salmon, bouillabaisse were just a few dishes and all our desserts were top notch. Service was as well with a waiter who explained every fish in perfect detail and was very attentive . I could have made a meal out of the bread basket ! Negatives: Tables very close and noise level rather high and this is a pricey restaurant- with most of our meals topping $50 or more each. I would highly recommend this as a place to celebrate a special occasion or impress a date. Sadly, my budget doesn’t afford me the enjoyment of frequent visits. This was as close to the food I loved from my New England roots .

The experience we had at Rena’s was phenomenal! We were there celebrating my husband’s birthday and everything was perfect! From the time we sat down our waitress, Allie, took such good care of us!! Our drinks were never empty and we didn’t wait long for our food from appetizer to dessert!!! It was our first time visiting this restaurant and Allie explained everything in detail from start to finish. The food was very good and so was the atmosphere, but I would be lying if I didn’t say that our experience was the way it was strictly because of ALLIE!! She was amazing and you guys are so lucky to have her!!!

It was out first time at Rena’s but won’t be out last. A casual, fun vibe, crowded which usually implies that it’s well liked. Italian style cocktails were served cold and with good flavors. We shared a small house salad which was simple with a nice vinaigrette on it. My date had the grouper prepared with wine and butter, with a side of spinach sautéed in garlic. The fish was cooked perfectly. I had the chicken piccata, very hot, crispy with a delicious lemon butter sauce with capers. The menu has several items that I want to try the next time we are there. I highly recommend Rena’s.
