Repeal is Whiskey Row’s only oak-fired steakhouse, located at the birthplace of J.T.S. Brown & Sons Bourbon Company in Louisville. A stylish departure from a traditional steakhouse, Repeal uses a wood-fired grill stoked daily with reclaimed American Oak bourbon barrels. Repeal is a tribute to the Repeal of Prohibition – a place to see, be seen and celebrate the rich tradition of the building in which it resides.

Excellent food. Pricey but that was expected from a high end steak house. So for what you get the price tracks. Thomas our server is one on the best I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Took the time to make suggestions and go over the menu with us. Most people followed the dress code but as always a few wearing tshirts and ball caps which have NO place in this type of establishment. All in all we will certainly be back next time in town.
