   Restaurant 62 is our favourite restaurant for fine dining. The menu choices are excellent. . The chef specials are always unique and delicious. The staff are exceptional, friendly and so knowledgeable. I really enjoy that they use so many local products.

   We’ve been to 62 many times. The food is heavenly, as always. Sarah, our server, bristled when I asked about US wines and how they were moving since Trump threatened Canada (we drank a nice bottle of Okanogan pinot noir), and was thereafter mostly absent, checking back in after delivering our meals, but abrupt and seemed bothered to be asked for desert menus - even more so when we didn’t order dessert. The bill for three was about $240, and she was tipped $30. More, by $27.60, than she’d earned, sorry. We’ll go back to 62, but we’ll be sure to sit in someone else’s section.

   The service we received was excellent. Our chicken sandwich was flavorful but the bun was soggy. The shrimp and scallop roll was excellent.

   Chris is an unbelievable server. We often make the drive out from Van/ Burnaby to experience what I would consider a best-in-class dine-in experience. It's not often that both the food and the service team shine so bright. We always appreciate the creativity the feature menus brings while never letting our tastebuds down. You have a winner here, great team, great ambience, great menu, and every wine you need. Thanks for always treating us so well!
